Popped along tonight, Thankyou for our invite, lovely decor, great food & very friendly staff, the wee boy had your cookie & ice cream dessert and wouldn't even share it, great atmosphere, get yourself along and enjoy ���

I’ve been a few times now and loved it, only ever had the carvery apart from a pizza with the kids on one occasion and tbh it could have been in the oven a tad longer but I love the carvery - in and out no messing about �. Yes I’ll be back.

First visit today, hidden gem. Was fantastic, very polite and friendly staff. Very clean with beautiful decor. The food was so good too, fresh and so much choice, children and adults all had a great time. We will be back again and would recommend this to family and friends. Thanks again x

Came yesterday at 12 o'clock with my hubbie and grandson, had the chicken burger and beef burger, can honestly say it was brilliant� food was fresh and place is looking great, young girl (waitress I think) was so friendly and great with our grandson, will deffo be back again�

Been here lots of times since it was refurbished. It's a carvery so it is what it is. Added bonus of having a lovely fresh salad bar or if you wish a freshly made pizza. Breakfast is also very good. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Does what it says on the tin. At reasonable cost. What more do you want.👍👍

Have visited before for dinner and always enjoyed it, however came along yesterday morning for Breakfast and was not enjoyable, stood at the food counter for just under 15 minutes waiting on food as half the trays were empty. Ended up just having what was there so the "all you can eat breakfast" consisted of 1 sausage, a hash brown, bit of bacon and a small amount of beans, no fried eggs or bread, disappointing as other visits have been excellent.

Girl that served was polite but their system for giving a bill is useless . Bought Thursday promotion with wine. Also large carvery and three starters . Ordered ice cream at the reduced rate as it was to go with be carvery the discount of £1.45 was deducted from the bill but wine at £16.99 was left on the bill not deducted as tonight’s promotion. Take it the happy chippy not who came out to help the girl was he manager. Till can’t cope with 2 promotions. Could I pay for ice cream separately not a problem as this took my bill from almost £60 pound to just over £40. Went to pay for ice cream and it was up too full price Was Politely said don’t bother. Starters were beautiful and really hot. Pizza slightly undercooked and lacking in taste. Good portion on meat with the carvery. Person who had this was pleased with his meal. Don’t think I will be back

Food was good,lovely & clean inside only reason I am giving it 3stars is down to lack of staff,stood for over 15 mins to be served for food & a drink , then on second drink it was over 20 mins .

We went at 6.30pm on a Saturday night and very disappointed to find that several of the items we tried to order were unavailable, plus no Turkey at the carvery. Also we had to ask for some of the salads to be filled up. All in all poor experience.

Shame my Granddaughter had booked the private room for the family to celebrate her Graduation early on in the year , phoned to confirm we arrived people in the room tables not ready or configued for the 17 guests .There was no turkey left , this happened last night 5th of July

Decided to try the new pizzas as was out shopping with a friend, service was really bad, guy genuinely should not be in that job serving the public, he managed to order the wrong pizza for us, luckily we noticed before the order was given to the chef. You get given a wee bleeper to let you know when pizzas are ready and it bleeped to let us know they were ready before we'd even got our starters. Pizzas and starters were actually quite good, the salad bar is very poor and the chips had obviously been lying around for ages. Then tried to order coffees but guy managed to muck that up by not bringing them. Asked waitress about them after about 15 minutes but she told us that the barman had forgot about them. Coffee then arrived and it was more like watery tea, no coffee in it, they said machine wasn't working and then they took about 10 minutes to manage to give a refund for the coffees which we didn't drink. Overall definitely will not be back.

Burgers fall apart! Try putting a skewer in it. Before I even got to my table the top half of my meal was on the floor. Another 15 minute wait on a burger to be told they forgot... so given one sitting on the hot plate that we watched fall apart on the plate. Used to be good as brucefield carvery. Gone way down hill now.

Went on Sunday 27th, there were plenty empty tables, just not clean and it was roasting. Everywhere we tried it was like sitting in a sauna so my husband tried opening some windows, none of them opened. But we were starving and wanted to try these new pizzas.

Hubby went to the bar to get drinks, and asked about the windows, apparently they sealed them in the new refurb. Surely that's a health and safety concern?

So I went to order the pizzas and was told they had no dough left. � So we had the carvery which we have previously had and enjoyed.

I go up first so the husband can watch our 5 month old. I had to wait for the carver. The place is a mess and the meat was dry.

I come back to my seat and my daughter is clearly getting uncomfy in the heat. Again, serious health and safety.

When the husband came back he tells me he was told by the carver that the food had been sitting there since 5pm!!! It was almost 8! Anyway we inhaled our food and left as soon as we could.

Deffo put us off coming back. Which is a shame.

We visited the car very at 5pm on Friday night. Starters were delivered within 25 mins which was fine, but one of the orders was wrong - the waitress spotted this, apologised and arranged a replacement which we waited another 10 minutes for. There was no sign of the main courses 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering. Two of the meals were brought to the table but 10 minutes later there was still no sign of the other 4! When I asked where they were I was told that they were coming! I asked to speak to the manager who said sorry but they were being dished up now. Overall, really disappointing and spoiled our night out. Shame as this was our first time visiting since it was a Brewers Fayre. Definitely won't be back.

Nothing different from normal carvery maybe Brussels sprouts , and waitress cleared our main course plate away and I asked if we could wait for a while for pudding as were full, 10mins later she brought them too us and when I said we weren't ready for them she just shrugged and left them on table. we ordered the after eight doughballs which tasted just of dough with little bit chocolate inside were horrible ,even table next to use left them. Thought our quiet relaxing meal turned into a rushed meal so we left after our drinks.

Terrible! Won't be back. Two burnt brioche burger's (one with a hair), a two inch square Chilli Bake for £7 that we actually queried to be an adult portion and dried out sides and sauces. Also, car park and front littered.

Myself and family visited tonight for the open night. We waited over an hour an a half for our starters after asking 4 separate members of staff how long it would take. One waitress asked us how our meal was and we told her after 2 hours we still had not received our meal. She said give me two minutes and every time when she walked by she detoured our table. I'm not sure what's more worrying, the fact the waitresses and waiters knew we were waiting so long or the fact they never even tried to sort our food order??? I had three young children with me, one 5 year old (who ordered a margarita pizza) and never received his meal after such a long time. However It was comical to see the table beside us receive "our" meals that they didn't order, although they happily accepted the food. I hope you enjoyed my 5year olds dinner!

My partner spoke to another member of staff to say we were leaving as we had given up all hope of being served. At this point all management staff started to scarper from around us 'perhaps to hide' I'm unsure. Managerial staff need to reassess their training and perhaps grow a set and deal with difficult situations rather than leave a less experienced member of staff to take the brunt. I have genuinely never been in such an incompetent establishment in regards to management. If it was your children I'm pretty sure you would not have been happy with this level of service. No apology was given by management, two young members of staff apologised. They are a credit to their company, but as I have said management have a long way to go!



On a positive note I got my order correctly from my local chip shop, credit where it's due west calder Chippy!

Left waiting over 30 minutes for a chicken burger. Offered a free drink as an apology. Not good enough. Burger came, no toppings. When challenged one put on. Challenged again and told I was wrong. Then almost had to wait for cheese to be warmed. Asked to be given it as was hungry. Go back to old way, worked better!

Disgusting customer service. One off the young men in there that works for them has an issue with me and my family unknown he works here we went for breakfast to over hear him say to his work staff "he was going to knock us out if we never left" while we were eating our breakfast with our kids newborn and toddler. Then the manager asks us to leave because this one worker he obviously new that travis has anger issues. Also he had all the kitchen staff starring at us while we ate. He had a handful off people hold him back at just the look off us. Not the kind off person you should have working with the public if they can't contain there anger. Definatly do not recommend eating out here. Travis Dickson is the young man the pizza cheaf.
