Really amazing place, clean, comfy and best location in the island. Perfect base for Islay and crazy cheap.

Brilliant!
Looked at B&B's on the island but they were mostly well overpriced.
Found the pods at an excellent price and a fantastic location.
Clean, comfortable, fully featured and well maintained.
Gus is an excellent host - even sorted out a fishing rod for my friend after mentioning it in passing!
We stayed in the Lagavulin pod. Enough room for 4 adult men and associated bags.
Fantastic views over Lagavulin Bay and within walking distance of three distilleries.
If you're looking to do Islay on a budget then this should be first on your list!
We will be back and we will stay here again.

It was an amazing experience wich I would recommend everyone who visits Islay.
Everything you need is inside this small pod. Clean furnishings, and a really pleasant host.

Super Location. Direkt in der Lagavulin Bucht. Robben und Seevögel kann man vom Sofa aus beobachten. Alle drei Destillen (Laphroaig, Lagavulin und Ardbeg) sind mit einem Fußweg bzw. Per Bus verbunden. Dieser hält direkt vor den Pods. Der Pod selber ist sauber aber für 6 Personen etwas zu klein. Bad ist OK, Dusche macht nass dafür sehr warm. Die Heizung ist ein el. Heizlüfter mit entsprechendem Geräuschpegel.
Man muss wissen, dass man im Nirvana ist. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit außer in Port Ellen.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Owner is lovely and laid back. Pod was clean and had everything we needed. View is stunning.

Storm Pods at Lagavulin.
Myself and my four girlfriends went in October 15 for a 40th birthday party and what a fantastic few days we had in the sun. It was an easy enjoyable one hour walk into the pod and then we were met by a beautiful view as we went into our pod.
We all enjoyed the pods amenities very cosy and warm all you need, the view and the surrounding area beautifully breath-taking, the seals at our front door amusing and cute. I would recommend the Storm Pods to anyone with a heart that needs chilled. Have a good one x grace
