What a place brilliant Came from Hawick to one o the best nights out

Went here today for a catch up with sisters, when we arrived Tracy let us know that she had no chef today, but could make us fish and chips and other things, food was lovely and very prompt, served with care, thanks Tracy as you didn't have to go the extra mile, thanks again xx

Staff were very friendly would highly recommend.

I frequent the Storm Queen public house on a regular basis as I just stay around the corner near the good old library, anyway, the Storm Queen is a very courteous and polite establishment too frequent and the staff treat all customers the same, regardless, at the moment unfortunately they do not do meals but alas, within the next week or two this shall change, as Tracy is seeking for staff in the kitchen department this coming week, the live acts from live bands and tributes too Kareoki's on separate occasio s is a . ust, so as you can see there is a lot going on, well, one day you may frequent and enjoy, CHEERS.

Great atmosphere very friendly staff let down by her chef but Tracy still served up lovely fish and chips service was excellent. There are some smashing singers in Partick place to be on a wet Saturday afternoon I'll be back

Been going for ages now loved it now tonight we were told we can’t smoke our vapour fag got to go outside with it aww well won’t b back plenty pubs let u smoke them ! �

Smashing wee day in the storm Queen , nice atmosphere , nicely decorated , they didn’t have a chef , but the barmaid kindly made us fish, chips , and tea with bread and butter , which was very tasty , reasonably priced . Will return , hopefully they will have a full menu next time

I think the place was terrible twice I've had good in here and had to give back I had steak pie yesterday the pastry u couldn't cut through the meat was cold and potatoes brick had so obviously told them to stuff it plus they had a70yr old man doing karaoke and the sound was terrible no wont b going back😡

My friends and I were in the storm queen last night. At the end of the night a tall barmaid with dark hair in a ponytail removed my drinks whilst I was talking to a friend and did not tell me. I said she’s just removed my drinks and didn’t say anything to me to which to barmaid started shouting and balling in an aggressive way her reaction was pretty over the top she behaved like a complete maniac.

We were the accused of having too much to drink to which I replied well you kept selling us drink and didn’t complain about the money.

My friend was the accused of bringing in her own drink and drinking that in the pub to which was not true and there was no proof. I’m sure if they thought that we would have been asked to leave but no.

As far as being too drunk went I pointed out that the manageress who was sitting with a member of our party at one point was totally inebriated to the point that she could not talk properly it didn’t look good for them. We were told we were barred which is no loss as I wouldn’t dream of going back to a pub where the barmaid verbally abuses people and throws around accusations that are not true.

Needless to say my bank card that was in my purse in my bag was stolen.

Upon talking to other people on the way home was advised that it happened regularly. The only thing I can say is the barmaid would never get a job in any other pub due to her aggressive manner and the way she portrays herself. This must be the kind of people needed to work in this pub says it all really.

I have put a complaint in to the licensing board as it seems to me it’s ok for them to keep selling alcohol in an irresponsible manner. BEST AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS
