Stotfield Hotel, Lossiemouth
Reviews
I would describe this hotel as old but with a certain charm. Would still be nice to see it be renovated and a little modernised
Good food just being refurbished. Food good and staff very helpful. Prices very respectable.
The hotel is very lovely and the staff are very pleasant. I was disappointed at the lack of storage in my room, and that no toiletries were provided. The location is very picturesque.
Whilst looking dated in parts, the hotel is undergoing refurbishment at present. The rooms are comfortable and of a good size, although the shower and bathroom need upgrading. The buffet breakfast was very good and the overall price is very reasonable.
Good food in a nice peaceful environment. Been here to eat with the family and the odd business meeting. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about drinks and the menu.
Excellent reception staff provided a warm welcome and had called us in advance to arrange for a travel cot to be set up in room on noticing we had an infant amongst our group on booking. Room was spacious and had fantastic views across the coast, though bathroom would benefit from modernisation. There was a function/party taking place at the hotel on the first night of our stay and although we didn't mind that, there was a lot of noise and shouting in the corridor outside our room and outside the building in the very early hours of the morning which woke the baby and gave us a fairly sleepless night. That aside though, the hotel has been comfortable and convenient for our stay in Lossiemouth.
Nice but dated
It not to bad only I thing I can say that bad is the water pressure from the shower in the rooms was poor
Hotel is nice but the rooms are a tad dated. However, the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with a room and it was quickly resolved.
We stayed here over 2 years ago and have since moved to the area. We recommend it to family when they visit. It is a beautiful hotel. Rooms slightly outdated. Breakfast is lovely.
