Due to a power issue on the prestwick main street, our main call centre has lost power, currently our dispatch system is down as the servers have lost power. at this time our phone systems are down also as well as our smartphone and online booking systems. it is unclear at the moment when the system will be working again.
UPDATE : Power has been restored to the call centre and the data servers are now back working, we apologies for the delay and disruption to your travel this... evening, this we due to power disruption. Our phone lines are now back in operation and apologies if there are any long call queues we recommend that you stay on the line. please allow time for all services to return to normally such as our text / ring back service and smartphone booking app these features may take more time to become operational as the system reboots.

Due to events @ Ayr racecourse, call queues are very likely as well as wait time. We have extra staff working in our call centre to minimise queues time and provide a faster service for our customers. We recommend that during peak times you download our smartphone app as it will save you time!

**Designated viewing area and road restrictions around airport**
Please be advised that a Designated Viewing Area (DVA) has been identified and is the only authorised area that aircraft enthusiasts and members of the public can view the arrival and departure of Air Force One. This DVA refers to the hard standing area as highlighted by the red marker on the map.
... Please note there is no viewing possible from the Terminal Building, as the Spectators Gallery is currently closed for refurbishment.
There will be a strong police presence around the entire perimeter of the airport.
Road and parking restrictions will be in place around the airport perimeter from 0730, Friday 13 July for the duration of the weekend and no vehicle access or car parking will be permitted along the access road adjacent to the DVA.
Parking will be available within the airport’s car parks at the front of the terminal building – normal parking charges will apply.
