We love hearing about all the different things our wonderful supporters get up to in order to raise money and awareness. Kerry Heathcote is walking to as many of the Oor Wullie statues in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas as she can. She's already seen 57 of the 60 and plans to see the final three tomorrow. Thanks for your support Kerry!

“This is my Dad.”
“He had a stroke and couldn’t walk as a result.
Symptoms were recognised, he was diagnosed quickly and treated.
... Within 24 hours he could walk.”
Being treated in the right place at the right time results in better outcomes.

We're looking for a RESOLUTION RUN LEAD VOLUNTEER!
We're looking for a volunteer who will play a crucial and highly rewarding part in the preparation of our biggest fundraising events of the year - Resolution Run.
Working closely with the event manager, you will get stuck into supporting the work needed to put on your local Res Run in Spring 2020. Even better you can choose the hours you work to fit this role around any commitments you already have!
... We have three Resolution Runs in Scotland - Edinburgh, Dundee & Glasgow and we would love to have a lead volunteer at them all.
If you are interested, please message us or e-mail scotlandfundraising@stroke.org.uk

As Volunteers Week comes to an end, we just want to say a massive big thank you to all the volunteers of the Stroke Association. Your support is tremendous and appreciated by everyone you come into contact with! Volunteer Stacey Miller who started with the fundraising team and now volunteers with the Renfrewshire Stroke Café said all the members are very supportive of each other and it is an honour to volunteer in this setting.
