We were delighted to receive this very positive feedback this week .....
Hi I just wanted to say that I can't believe how successful SAMSON is with my P1/2 class. I have taught at the P1 and P1/2 stages for a number of years in other schools but I had not used SAMSON before. I can't believe that at this stage in the year how well the children can complete the number bond strip sheets. I only started subtraction teaching as part of my core maths a few weeks ago but they can a...ll complete the SAMSON strip sheet and they are starting to manage to record their time. They are managing really well with the problems on the flipcharts too. Even the children in my class that are needing more support are starting to complete these strip sheets with more accuracy. It's great to see how well they are managing with their number bonds at this stage in P1. In my experience in other schools, I would never have seen children at this stage writing number bonds at this time of the year and certainly not with the speed and accuracy that they are managing it. 🎪🎪🍿🍿🎪🎪

We are delighted to announce that Neil Armstrong, author of SAMSON Maths, will be in school on the 20th November at 5pm to present to Parents and Carers. We have been using SAMSON in school for over a year now, and are already noticing significant improvements in ...children’s abilities in mental maths. Neil will be addressing parents on the principles behind Samson and talking through the strategies so that you can better support your child at home. A number of Parents and Carers have commented on how their child’s confidence has grown using SAMSON but also want to better understand the strategies. This event gives all parents and Carers the perfect opportunity to hear about SAMSON, and ask Neil any questions. There will also be SAMSON learning guide for Parents, Guardians and Carers available to buy, priced £5. We are expecting a strong turn out to this event, and have invited our Cluster Primary School partners. It is often Grandparents who do homework with children, so they are invited too!

We received a fantastic comment this morning from a Parent whose daughter attends Lochmaben Primary.... this really made our day as Lochmaben Primary have only been using SAMSON since Aug. 🎪🎪
“Hey Mo! I was driving my daughter and her wee pal home from athletics the other night and they started talking about their lessons maths was mentioned and I asked if they enjoyed it! My daughter mentioned SAMSON and I asked did it help she and her friend said it helped to understand maths better....... Yaaaaaaay .....result! Pass on to your clever hubby too!”

Today we were delighted to hear how well a former SAMSON pupil has started at the Academy. Well done Jake - absolutely brilliant news! “Jake wondered if you could pass onto Mr Armstrong that today he was the first to achieve a black belt in Maths Ninja’s. 30/30, 100%. The teacher had said she would like to have a black belt by Christmas and he managed it bang on the 4 week mark”.
“Just thought you would like to know as it’s definitely testament to the fantastic start with SAMSON and how well he was taught”.

Final day of deliveries for the week for SAMSON! Double whammy as we delivered SAMSON to our first school in West Lothian, St Columba’s Primary and collected the keys we left at Noble Primary yesterday! 🙈🎪🎪🍿🎪🎪

Looks like we will be visiting Noble Primary sooner than we thought.... just realised we have left our keys there!! 🙈🙈 See you all tomorrow!! 😀🎪🎪
