Stronsay Markets is a Mini Market Garden set up in late 2015. Starting with one polytunnel for salad and starting plants, I have now a second tunnel for soft fruit which has done well in summer 2017. More ground is being made ready so more produce is possible. Although not certified as "organic" I use only organic fertilizer, no pesticides and herbicides. I avoid deep digging and prefer mulching where possible. Wind breaks are an essential and fine netting helps create a micro-climate and keep bugs off. I post available produce each week on this Facebook site and have an email list for those that prefer.
