What can i say except Amazing..My mums 60th Birthday BBQ was a success. couldnt have asked for better products and Gayle from the S. Queensferry Stuarts Butcher customer service was top notch. Not only did she hand press the burgers on the morning of collection she also offered to marinade the meat with flavours if we wanted it... Couldnt have asked for any better and my family will all agree...Thank you so much Stuarts :)

User

We had a delicious selection of our favourite pies delivered all the way to suffolk. They turned up as fresh as if they where bought in the shop.

Will Definetly be using the delivery service again, when my freezer space allows for it.

Thanks

User

We bought a steak pie from our local coop for dinner tonight and we all agree that we havenā€™t ever had as good a steak pie as this before! So meaty and pastry was delicious as was the gravy, well seasoned and loads of flavour! Canā€™t wait to have another ļæ½

User

Seen the products in my local co-op for the first time so thought I'd give the steak pie a try! Absolutely amazing! Best steak pie I've had in a while (even better than my own!) it will take some beating!

User

Received my postal order of Chocolate "Scotch Eggs" this morning. They arrived in perfect condition. Of course we had to try one for our elevenses, they were delicious.

Thank you to all the team at Stuart's.

I loved the Easter decoration inside the box Thank you again

Dorothy Macdonald of Baldock, South East England.

I'm at my local bakers on a daily basis. Great service great food lovely family. However this week with the horrendous snow. They have ensured I have had enough food to keep me, husband and five year old going whilst we have had no kitchen. Thank you appreciated. ļæ½

Always used to go to the coffee shop when visiting Leven. Was in other day in the wee coffee shop. Was shocked at price i was charged from a very grumpy little blonde woman!!!! One very small cup of tea, small glass milk, two cream cake which were the only things priced!!! Ā£6.80!!! the cakes worked out at Ā£2.70 so what was so pricy about the milk and tea!! think this is well overpriced!!!

Greigs will gain from your high prices sad to say.

User

I always buy rolls from Stuarts but don't know what has happened they are not as good as they use to be don't know if they have changed the recipe but they are rubbish won't be buying rolls again from Stuarts

User

Always spend a lot every time I go in but now I won't the place have went down hill got a steak pie today and came home to eat it and it was soo dry and the pastry was Brick hard like it had been lying for days and asked for 3 of the same cakes and got home to find I only got given the 2 when she clearly repeated is it 3 you want they need to employ younger people and not old people that can't understand simple tasks and the fridge where the juice is kept is always switched off and this all at the scoonie shop need changes no point in complaining as no one gets back to you

User

Went into Stuart's the Butchers/ Bakery at Lundin Links Friday afternoon. Fancied something for the BBQ. Greeted the staff and asked about the chicken kebabs......

Lady behind the counter told me the flavours. I decided to have 6 of each for the family.

I was then told "I hope you have plenty of money - they are expensive!"

I was shocked......I told her and the butcher they could keep the stuff. I wouldn't be using their services again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

How dare Stuart's tell me how to spend the money in my pocket!!!!

STUARTS THE BUTCHERS / BAKERY YOU CAN KEEP YOUR STUFF!

I for one will never use them again. In the past we have spent a lot of dosh at that butchers in Lundin Links.

It is not for the shop owner/counter assistant to ask if you have the money.

I might add that when I was in there was no customers at all.....the place was dead...... wonder why?? Plenty of produce but no customers...........!!!!

Went along to Penman the Butchers at Crail better service that's for sure.

User

Stuart's products have started apearing in West Fife recently. Branding all over the place. Gave them a try. Average products at VERY VERY expensive prices. Looked at the lables of similar products on the shelves and not only are Stuart's products more expensive (average 25-35%) they contain LESS ingredients. Sliced sausage 4 pack contains 50% beef at Ā£2.59 compared to other packs by other butcheers which have 65% beef at Ā£1.75. Their bakers products are just as expensive. 2 pack crumpets at Ā£1 when a 4 pack from Baynes costs Ā£1.30 and are better quality. Stuart's macroni pies cost Ā£1 and are HALF the size of other pes costsing Ā£1.20. Their Steak pies are unbelievably expensive and are full of gravy with very little beef. You can ofte see reduced price stickers on them because they aren't selling. To add, the shop keeper also told me that Stuart's even charge the shops for their bags and signs??? So, they are making the shops pay to do their advertising? I won't be buying anything again.

User

Stuart the bakers in leven Ā£2.20 for a roll on microwaved square sausage discusting. Will not be back greggs do a deal Ā£2 for a roll on 2 square sausages and great coffee x10 better quality Will no be back. Plus the service is appalling slow miserable.

User

I used love your Steak Pie's that was stocked in the Kinross Co op store but for a long time there was none. I spotted that they were back in a week ago to only find that was very poor, the gravel was like water and not much taste to it. Was not put off but I would try again only to find when I went back to the Coop Kinross to find most of them were out off date. Also why do they not stock large pies?

User

I have been overcharged twice in four weeks at the Kirkcaldy high street shop. This morning I was over charged by Ā£1-50 and 64p the previous time but only when relieve staff are present, Jackie who is the normal person in charge never does this. I can imagine how many other customer are duped who do not question their transaction. Relieve staff just could not care less about their job.

At other times, relieve staff would lick their fingers to open paper bags and then pick up rolls with the same hand.....disgusting !!

User

Have spent years buying from the bakers and yet the last couple of years the prices have rocketed and the quality has rapidly decreased! Apple turnovers supposing to have cream inside? Not even a teaspoon of cream in easily 6 in the last year, steak pie with a blob of yellow inside the pie? Sausage roll tasted like gristle last week! Given up on Stuart's. paying out too much just to be disappointed! Quite annoyed when I go to buy there with my partner and not know whether it's gonna be good or not?!

User

Got 78% beefburgers at my local coop the batch number on pack is 46.

SHOCKING has anyone at your co tried to cook and eat this muck ?

first off they looked good in the pack at shop that's where I should have left them.

clearly ....fake colouring added too look good.

Tried to cook one on the grill not seen a burger that colour from anyone...... once cooked looks a gray -beige colour, kidney texture, tryed again with frying pan,

turns out the same.

User

Dont mind paying for a buttered roll if theres butter on it!!!

Lucky if was a pee size bit spread on roll. Bloody terrible at Lundin Links shop!!!!

User

Bought a steak pie from Coop in Markinch tonight as normally these are delicious. However this one was very disappointing - when I cut into the pastry it was swimming in gravy with very few bits of meat. The meat that was there was tough and full of sinew.

Not sure I will ever buy another one?

I have been overcharged twice in four weeks at the Kirkcaldy high street shop. This morning I was over charged by Ā£1-50 and 64p the previous time but only when relieve staff are present, Jackie who is the normal person in charge never does this. I can imagine how many other customer are duped who do not question their transaction. Relieve staff just could not care less about their job.

At other times, relieve staff would lick their fingers to open paper bags and then pick up rolls with the same hand.....disgusting !!

Seen the products in my local co-op for the first time so thought I'd give the steak pie a try! Absolutely amazing! Best steak pie I've had in a while (even better than my own!) it will take some beating!

Received my postal order of Chocolate "Scotch Eggs" this morning. They arrived in perfect condition. Of course we had to try one for our elevenses, they were delicious.
