Rules below. The lake is situated in the Tame valley in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
It has nine comfortable fishing pegs of which only seven will be booked out at any time.

No visitors are permitted at any time.

Parking is permitted next to each peg so no need to bring your barrow.
Please allow enough room for other vehicles to pass.

Fishing is available on a pre booked basis only.

Payment in full is required at time of booking or by prior arrangement - No refunds. Non transferable.

Rules.

A maximum of 3 rods are permitted with the appropriate environment agency rod licences.

All nets (minimum size 42") , weigh slings and unhooking mats must be completely dry before use, no exceptions.

Carp cradles or large beanie unhooking mats are required.

All gates to be closed at all times and all cars must be parked sensibly, the surrounding farmland and lakes are strictly out of bounds.

No litter of any description to be left anywhere on the lake (please take it home).

No keep nets, sacks or retaining slings to be used at anytime. Anyone found using one will be asked to leave immediately.

Fish must always be transported from un-hooking mat to water in a sling. Under no circumstances should a fish be carried in your arms.

All fish caught must be returned to the water as soon as possible after weighing and photographs (no more than 3 minutes out of the water).

When taking a photograph of the fish always have at least one knee on the ground, never stand up with fish. Ensure you have a bucket of water to keep the fish cool.

Micro barbed hooks only.

Korda Carp Care, Klinik, tamodine, nt labs wound seal or other suitable fish care solutions must be used on hookholds or abrasions.

Minimum of 15 lbs breaking strain line. No bent hooks or long shank curved hooks.

Frozen boilies are acceptable, Shelf life boilies are not permitted.

Properly prepared particle baits only.

Nut baits must Not be used at any time.

No wading, no swimming or boating.

Bait boats are permitted within your peg boundary only.

Peg boundary is half way between yours and next peg on either side, and to the middle of lake.

Please be aware of the surface cable down the middle of the lake with white buoy in middle.

When setting rods on alarms, please use your off switch to maintain the peace on the lake. Constant beeping is not acceptable, keep your alarm volume to the minimum needed please.

Dogs are permitted but must be quiet, kept on leads at all times and all waste picked up and taken home.

BBQ’s are permitted, as long as the BBQ is self-contained and no damage is done to any vegetation or ground.

Alcohol in moderation. Drugs not permitted on this site.

There is a toilet provided, please use as anyone caught defecating in the undergrowth will be asked to leave immediately. Please leave toilet facilities as you wish to find them.

Please note there is no running water on site.

Strictly no moving of fish under any circumstances. Elford leisure will ban and seek to prosecute anyone found doing so.

Care and respect for the site should be shown at all times including no cutting or climbing of trees.
For your safety, No firearms, No swimming and No climbing of trees.

A reasonable standard of behaviour is expected, meaning no shouting, Fires, loud music, using bright torches or any other anti-social behaviour.
Please be sensible; enjoy your fishing on the Culvert pool. Allow others to enjoy their fishing , if you do not you risk being removed from the fishery.

Persons fishing at the lake do so at their own risk. We cannot be held liable for any accident and /or injury to anglers or their possessions, however caused, whilst on the premises. It is the angler's responsibility to ensure they are protected and are aware of the dangers of fishing before entering the fishery.
