Well that's our first season finished with the sponsorship with @Fife Flyers and it has been a great experience. We have met a lot of new people along the way from the people involved with the organisation to the players and to the fans who have come along to watch the streamed matches. We were not Ice Hockey fans before but with the involvement we have had it has definitely got us interested. Getting to know some of the players a little bit has also been good as we hosted th...eir annual charity karaoke day with the fans and for the imports joining us as we all watched the Superbowl here at Styx. Our sponsored player Rick Pinkston is one of the nicest guys you could meet. Rick popped in a few times over the hectic season that the players have and never had a bad word to say, even after some of the stick he took from the fans throughout the campaign and was named Defensive Player of the Year for this season. It has been a pleasure from our side to have been involved and hopefully all of the fans who came along to watch the matches with us enjoyed their experience too. There were some hiccups at the start but once we sorted them out all was good. Thanks once again to everyone involved and thanks to Rick for presenting us with his signed shirt from this season.

Was here yesterday watching my son play a match. I thought staff were very nice a great wee set up great atmosphere and food was good too

Thanks so much to Mike and the team at Styx for donating their function room and DJ free of charge on Saturday night to host our charity quiz night for Macmillan and Children in Need. They were so accomodating to all our needs and requests, and helped us raise over £2000.

Played pool here yesterday in a ladies tour event. Great venue, helpful staff, tables were good with plenty of room, would highly recommend

Last night's hen party was perfect. Brilliant staff, excellent dj, lovely clean facilities. Highly recommended.

Last night's event was superb especially with it being free entry I would have happily paid for a ticket to see the Michael Jackson tribute.....hope to see them at styx again in the future. I also would like to say how much I appreciated how the bar staff were organised and me as a customer was made to feel so welcome.

I just had my sons 21st party in the side room, really good night and the staff were brilliant, really helpful and friendly. Would recommend this venue for anyone having a party. Reasonable price well worth it :-)

Brilliant place, great staff, helpful management, there are few places around as good as this place!!!!



They are putting on so many specialist nights that there is something for everyone!!!



Even if it's just for a random game of pool... Went up one Friday night for a wee quiet night out... Ended up 15 of us having a wee friendly knock out comp!

My besty and i were at a function (21st) in Styx on Saturday night (11/2/17) and was very much impressed with the size of the room with lots of seating combining a small but reasonable dance floor, there was a small stage that staged the buffet table and easy access to toilets. The only way however to get drinks is through to Jackie O.2 but hey you can have a dance while awaiting the drinks you order as they play mainly 80.s music the best era of music of all time.



The DJ ...Eric (for functions and formally Jackie O dj) played all and everything that was available to music requests without any hesitaion i would at any time if you ever have a function be sure to get Eric to do the sounds as he is constant, capable, entertaining and plays what you want.



Overall night was a very much success with a lot of laughter dancing and drinking:):)

I wanted to give you 5 stars but your DJ was rude and very ignorant to a few of us that were out on Saturday night,when we asked him to play requests he point blank refused on more than 1 occasion. I thought the idea was to play tunes for the guests so we would be happy and dance. All other staff were excellent.

Not enough staff to cove the pool competition. No organisation in regards to food. Chaos is the word. Waited nearly an hour for bugger chips and cheese. At least last year they used numbered tickets to identify who the food was for.
