Well where do I start ?! Polite and welcoming staff and security, amazing locals who made this aussie feel at home from the get go. Amazing music by all involved on the Friday and Saturday that just passed (I also bet the music is always of high quality) and an atmosphere to match all the best club experiences I've had. Much love !

Great sound system,I like the vibes,low ceiling on dance floor and the red lightning all over.

Friendly staff,just a bit slow in bar service but when a place it's crowded is normal.

Was only a bit disappointed about average age but later was acceptable.

Will definitely come back.

My favorite club in the world. Used to go there twice a week when living in Glasgow. How I miss those nights! Always good music, best soundsystem I know, unique vibe.

Before entering be sure to know who's playing and don't try being in the line while drunk ;)

Had the honour of working at my favourite club for a few years... if I could attribute one institution that shaped my musical preferences the most over the years, it would be the Subby!

Also a major contributory factor to my poor academic progress for a number years �

My friend lost her phone in the club and we didn't realise until about an hour after the club had closed. Returned back to the door and were welcomed by a nice & friendly male employee leaving at the end of his shift who kindly went back in checked and returned her phone to her.

Great club with superb sound system, people are friendly, always have a great time there. The jewel in the crown of the club scene.

I'm forever meeting people from all around the world telling me how much they love the place. Really surprising just how many people have huge respect for this club considering it only holds 400 people. Long live Planet Sub

Fantastic wee club with a stonking sound system. Went there after the Stone Roses gig and after a couple of questions from the bouncer to make sure we were in the right place in we went. Tunes were totally on point and crowd were great too.

Experienced Skream live for the first time last night and it was my first time in sub club absolutely brilliant venue brilliant sound system all staff were minted 10/10 �

Absolutely brilliant. Had the same amazing vibes as the best clubs in Berlin. Will be back again. People saying that the bouncers are elitist is ridiculous. The bouncer took his time and asked questions to establish if we were there for music or to get steaming. people genuinely interested in enjoying electronic music will love it .

A place i hold dear to my heart.. i first went to the Sub Club 16 years ago and its as amazing today as the first visit. as a part time Glasgow resident from Australia ive spent many a evening in the basement at the Subby.. Cant wait to return to Glasgow.. its ususally my first port of call..big ups to the lovely residents Harri & Domenic who for me make it what it is x

Iconic nightclub but was better back in the late 1990s and early 2000’s.

Maybe I’m getting old but not the same as it used to be.

Crowd I feel are only there because it’s cool to go sub club, whereas back when I went it was all about the music, crowd are like minded people who are there to have good time etc not like kids these days standing about as if they’re cool as!

Unfortunately the door staff(usually the Alpha of the two) had terrible judgment on one of my friends resulting on 12 of us leaving the club very early..I think the cause was she was too happy or something like that..I can assure my friends was yes happy,of great company to a lot of people in the subby..but not drunk..not annoyed with any of the rest of the great staff that work there but with the judgement that was absolute nonsense..at least we all went back home with cash in my wallet..

Used to be good. Now a hierarchical power struggle between the pupils, staff and bouncers. Now and again a booking will be made that will be filled with people wanting to be sound. Usually riddied with folk puffing out their chest. And the bar staff... Never had service like it, so insultingly rude I'd be here for hours explaining the number of incidents. The bouncers seem to be on some sort of power-hungry rampage, one especially who has shoved me down the stairs while trying to get a signal on my phone on the landing (you know who you are sergeant jacket). Don't try and act friendly towards the bar staff as it doesn't apply here. I've never been knocked back, but rarely enjoy the club nowadays. Not sure there is a lot of hope. I think the underground scene has gone tits up in Glasgow over the last two or three years, discovered by more and more pigeons in their impossible triangle fashion statement. Or maybe I'm just getting old...
