Wow! Subsea Expo 2020 took off today. It has been a really busy day for the team. It was very rewarding to speak to so many of our valued customers who have supported us over the last year, and to hear the very positive feedback on not only our tooling but our highly respected service. It is also a fabulous opportunity to introduce the company to new potential clients looking for the very latest in dredging technology and bespoke tooling. Subsea Expo continues tomorrow until 2.30pm. We would be delighted to welcome you to stall 170 and look forward to seeing you!

Boulders Beware! Ragnarok barely had time to settle into his new surroundings before he was off on a job. Along with a fast-track 4" Predator Dredging job and some basket mobs it was a busy Friday. Just the way we like it. With more equipment going out on Sunday we may need a weekend to recover from the weekend!

Storm Brendan is not the only thing stirring up the waters on the Scottish coastline. Our Operations Manager Cameron has been busy these past few days off operating his beloved 8" E Dredge to allow harbour repairs to be completed. A scheduled 5 day dredging job completed in 3 days.

Having just returned from an ROV dredging job, our 8" E Dredge is being mobilised again for in-shore diver dredging operations. Today the team were carrying out pre-mobilisation checks in our 16500 litre test tank facility in Oldmeldrum. Due to the environmentally sensitive area the dredging is being performed, our client opted for the all electric system to mitigate against any hydraulic oil leakage and the need to hire additional hydraulic power units, hose reels etc. One o...f our technicians will also be heading out with the dredge. #Edredge

Well that's 2020 off to a busy start, with more 6" Piranha dredgers mobilising to the client's vessels today. Our Operations Manager Cameron Anderson gives one of his creations a final check over, before being green tagged and delivered to the customer.

Possibly the last mobilisation of 2019?? Maybe.. An urgent request today for one of our 6" Piranha dredgers complete with clay jetting system on a next day hot shot delivery to the Netherlands to meet the clients vessel. One dredger system complete with many bags of goodies for the ROV team who will be using this system offshore.

Who said anything about holidays?? Our team were hard at work today mobilising equipment. 3 x 30 Ft Riser Recovery subsea baskets & 1 x 8" ROV Piranha dredger off to one client. Followed by an urgent request for a 6" Piranha ROV dredge for another client's mobilisation.

This week the Directors of STS were delighted and proud to complete, and sign off on, a Frame Agreement for the provision of dredging services with one of the World's largest Tier 1 contractors. All of our staff work incredibly hard to create opportunities like this for the company and it is a credit to them as well as recognition of our innovative and unique high performance dredging fleet.
