Sorry to all our customers but Sumo will be closed for two weeks for the chinese new year from Sunday 31st.

We always get great food in Sumo...lovely service and the New York Cheesecake is the best I have ever tasted ...keep up the good work.....would highly recommend.

This cafe is amazing! The food was great and the staff boxed up the rest of our food for us because our eyes were waaaay bigger than our bellies ! Friendly staff and definitely worth the 25 mile journey!

I’ve been to Japan � twice and this place does truly delicious food that’s on par with the home country. Highly recommend the teriyaki chicken and sticky rice. Cooked to perfection, light yet filling, satisfying and can’t wait to go back. (A lot).

I was always scared to try Japanese food but this place is amazing! It's now one of my favourite places to eat. A hidden gem in Falkirk and in my opinion much better than the likes of wagamama. Great deals during the week too!

I love this place the food is always superb and the staff are all just lovely. So happy to have a good sushi place in flakirk.

Fresh cooked food and plenty of it

Been to sumo a fee times each time the staff have been very warm and welcoming ,the food each time have been absolutely amazing beautiful presented

Been coming here with my family since my oldest was a baby and never had a bad meal yet, everything is made fresh and always delicious, me, my husband and our 3 kids love it here and the servers are amazing too, the waitresses have great patience and are really lovely towards our kids, they're always talking away to them and play with my young daughter even when it's busy, makes a difference when you can go and relax knowing the staff don't mind the kids

Always have a fab time when out for a meal, service is great, very friendly and the food is amazing, something for everyone if you like to experiment x

Nice wee place in the heart of the town with nice staff and quick service......and spicy soup that would burn the mouth of the devil �

LIt's been a while since we've eaten at Sumo; loved the Sumo yakisoba with seafood and meat - enough protein to keep me going till Christmas - perfectly cooked scallops, the freshest king prawns, squid, marinated pork and chicken on top of not-to-spicy noodles and beansprouts. Mmmmm

Eaten here a few times now and thoroughly enjoy the food. Try the Spicy Veg Soup as a starter, it contains chillies, so it's not for the faint hearted.

Delicious food, i had chicken katsu, was extremely tasty and well presented. Only criticism we had was there were too many staff standing around, other than that it was lovely.

Went back today after a few years, ordered the curry noodle soup which is around £10.00. This was the only thing I loved at Sumo, used to be a bowl of intense flavoured red coloured heaven which was chicken based with tofu, chilli, star anis, cinnamon etc etc. Today I was served a light brown coloured tasteless bowl of bland. Told the waitress this was not what it was and it was very watery and was still charged full price. Real shame this is not the same, stick to the cheap set menu which will probably be ok but at just under £12 for my lunch I feel ripped off and I won't return until things improve with the main menu. Not good.

Wasn't impressed. Yesterday for lunch I received wrong starter which I ate to save waste and hassle. Then found a used skewer in my Yakisoba. Got new food served but it didn't cut it. won't be back. Shame as my boys and I used to like going there.
