Sunny Saltcoats Description
Saltcoats (Scottish Gaelic: Baile an t-Salainn) is a small town on the west coast of North Ayrshire, Scotland. The name is derived from the town's earliest industry when salt was harvested from the sea water, carried out in small cottages along the shore. It is part of the 'Greater Ardrossan' or 'Three Towns' conurbation along with Ardrossan and Stevenston.

Hiy, listen up people, the Lyrid Meteor Shower will be visible all over the World tonight. Will most likely be visible in Saltcoats, but you'll have tae get away from the light pollution. Try the beach or go up to Ardrossan Wind Farm, it should be very clear up there. It will be best to be oot at between 12am & 2am.
