Sunnyside Bed And Breakfast

We travelled to Balloch this weekend for a family wedding & stayed at the Sunnyside B&B. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is comfortable, spotlessly clean & the best breakfast ever. We had 2 young children with us as well & Frank & Lorraine went out of their way to ensure that we were all made to feel very welcome. An excellent place to stay.

We really enjoyed our holiday thanks to the warm and helpful owners of this B&B. Beside the two nights in the B&B, we mainly spent our time travelling around Scotland in one of their old-timer-campervans (Lilly).

This was probably not the cheapest car you can rent, but the flexibility to go (and stay) wherever you want overcompensates the costs of going from B&B to B&B/Ho(s)tel. And as wild-camping is allowed in Scotland, it can even be a cheaper option!

Also, Lilly is not the fastest car, but driving it in the amazing landscapes makes it definitely the most charming.

In short, the sunnyside campervans are perfect if you want to make a road trip, but you have to take into account the side effect of waving and smiling people alongside the road when passing by! :)
