Team Sunnyside had a busy Sunday. The amazing duo got their Horse of the Year Show qualification. Although surprised they got it so quickly we never had any doubt this partnership of Cate and Bambi would smash it. Very proud😍 And I think I’m allowed to say this pony is simply amazing!!🐎🐎💥💥

Royal international here we come!🐎💥

we’ve just got home from a weekend in the crawick lodge and honestly loved every second. we didnt meet dominic as he was away but were shown around by his parents who were so lovely and very welcoming and friendly. the pod itself was clean and cosy with everything you could need, and the hot tub was wonderful. honestly the views, peace and quiet, animals on the farm along with the glorious weather made for an amazing weekend.



also tried the pub called colebrooke arms in the nearby Crawfordjohn for tea on saturday which me and my other half both loved, great food and service! also the drive through the countryside from Sanquhar to there was literally breathtaking!



cannot recommend enough for a quiet country weekend retreat �

What a wonderful little place. Absolutely great stay we had and our 2 dogs. Pod was so well equipped, more than we thought. Hot tub was great, decking fab and surrounding fields brilliant for walks. Went here 2 weeks ago for an overnight with my partner. We were in mennock lodge the decor was first class and everything you needed was provided. The hot tub has Bluetooth and led lighting . It was totally amazing .

Dominic was so nice he came and explained everything you need to know and also explains you can get food deliveries to your lodge.



Can't wait to go back here in the future .

We've only stayed one night so far but need to leave a review it's lovely here a perfect place for some peace and quiet and relaxation. The owners provide everything you can think of needing within the lodge even down to ice for freshments. Bedding is hotel quality lodge is just lovely hot tub is amazing. Owners are friendly and very helpful we are already planning a return visit

We are just back from 2 nights here in the Crawick pod with our 3year old and 2 dogs. The pod was spacious and had everything we needed. The views are great and being able to sit watching the horses while having our breakfast was lovely. The playpark was ideal and the wee one could run about himself without too much direct supervision so we could relax. The hot tub was of course a big hit and very relaxing after a day at Drumlanrig castle, on the way home we stopped in at Crawick Multiverse for a wander too. Dominic showed us around when we arrived and I think he even ordered us some sunshine. I'd highly recommend the pods and will be back ��

Dominic and his mam gave us a little run through of how things work inside and out and made recommendations for food and places to go, even though there was a little folder inside explaining it all. Pod has everything you need, crockery and cutlery plus towels and bedding. Even little things like washing up liquid/tea towel, shower gel and hand-wash was provided. Hot tub is amazing, Bluetooth speakers and led lights were a great touch. So peaceful and quiet, you can see for miles. We were lucky and weather wasn't too bad, but was cosy inside and hot tub was under cover. Dogs were friendly and made the odd appearance on our decking but that didn't bother us. Can't wait to go back! Thank you so much

Spent 4 nights in Nith Lodge (2 adults, 2 children) and what a fabulous experience we had! The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. The outdoor eating (bbq) was enjoyable and the views were fantastic. The Lodge indoor facilities were everything advertised - fabulous shower, TV with DVD, fridge, hob, toaster, kettle, eating area and crockery and cutlery. We were out and about most days but returned to the lodge around 3pm to hot tub and chill. What made it even more special was the interaction we had with Dominic and his family - we met the horses, ponies, cows, grumpy goose and his family, pet goose and chickens. Their 3 dogs (Tam, Bruno and Pip) were friendly and visited us (enticed no doubt by the dog biscuits)! Tam was the favourite and if we’d had room in the car, we would’ve smuggled him out with us when we left! Highly recommend these wee gems whether for one night or a longer stay.

Myself & my wife are from the local town of Sanquhar and got the chance to try out the Mennock Lodge. Our stay was fantastic, the lodge had everything we could of imagined and more with some special touches like hand wash, shower gels, tea and coffee which we didn’t expect. There was also a folder with various information including local attractions which I would imagine would be of benefit for people out with the local vicinity. The team at Sunnyside are very helpful, Dominic showed us around the lodge and demonstrated how everything worked.



The lodge it’s self is very spacious with plenty of room, the decor suited the lodge perfectly providing a nice county feel, the mood lighting inside was a favourite of mines. The hot tub was massive with built in Bluetooth and mood lighting. The canopy is a great idea as this provides further privacy but also some shelter from the Scottish weather however once you’re in the hot tub the weather isn’t a factor. The views from the lodges are fantastic and the Mennock one looks over onto the picturesque Lowther Hills.



Although we are only a 5 minute drive from the lodges it felt like a million miles away, perfect to get away for a night or two with minimal hassle of uprooting everything. A great place with great ideas, highly recommended for locals and visitors from afar.

My son and I have just spent five nights in Mennock Lodge and had an amazing time, everything you could want is in place, plus lots of extras. Lovely to come away and only had to bring our personal things. The hot tub has bluetooth and lighting, so sitting in there of an evening was a pleasure. The scenery outstanding when you come from the flatlands, Lincolnshire. What made it so special was Dominic and his parents, they make you so welcome, and are constantly calling to see if you need anything. We will be booking again for next year.

Just got back from a 2 night stay in Mennock pod. The pod itself was perfect, very clean and all the gadgets and facilities you need. The hot tub was amazing the views from the tub itself are fantastic. Great place to visit if your wanting a quiet few nights away. Dominic was very friendly and on arrival showed us how to work the hot tub and everything inside the pod.

Just came back from a fabulous two night stay with my husband and two kids the pod itself was great it’s well planned out with a lovely little bathroom shower and kitchen area there’s a kids play area right in front of pods so kids were happy they could come and go and we could keep an eye on them,and the hot tub was just amazing definitely the icing on the cake! the owner are are all lovely and happy to chat and we all loved the friendly sheep dogs can’t wait to come back!

Just back from a brilliant two night stay in the Nith lodge with my husband and 2 children.We all had a fantastic time!The lodges are clean,modern,cosy and spacious and have everything you could need for a short break.The location is stunning and peaceful,just what was needed to relax and unwind.Thank you so much to the lovely family that own the lodges for taking my daughter and myself to meet all the horses and cows..was such a nice touch.The hot tub is just the icing on the cake and being able to connect your music through bluetooth was brilliant.We have already booked to come back in October as we enjoyed it so much..highly reccomended.

Im just back from this beautiful place with my girlfriend , we were there two nights and didnt want to leave the place is just so peaceful , the owners are really nice people and made us feel very welcome , there animals were very friendly aswell horses were stunning �the pod was very spacious and clean everything that you need is in the pod , the hot tub was magical and the spectacular views are endless me and my girlfriend will definitely be back and we highly recommend �

I won an overnight stay in the Mennock pod at Sunnyside Lodges and stayed there on Sunday 15th April. Dominic showed us to the pod and where everything was. He also showed us how to use the hot tub. The pod was immaculate and had everything you could think of. It was so quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed after a busy weekend celebrating my son's 18th. We ordered a Chinese after an afternoon in the hot tub which is first class with its Bluetooth and disco lights. We sat later having a drink and enjoyed the views and tranquillity. Such an amazing place and we will definetly be back. Thankyou again for this amazing prize.

Had a fantastic nights stay at the Lodge last weekend. Beautiful setting with fantastic views of the area especially with snow. Hot tub was lovely and warm and more than big enough for four people as was the lodge itself with everything you could possibly need. Dominic couldn't of been more helpful and made prior arrangements with us to collect us at the bottom of the hill due to snow and even come back for another one of the group later and took up back down at 8am on a Monday morning, not ideal for him but it wasn't a problem at all. Brilliant night away all round. Thank you!

Spent a few nights in Crawick pod last week and it was fantastic! Dominic and his mam gave us a little run through of how things work inside and out and made recommendations for food and places to go, even though there was a little folder inside explaining it all. Pod has everything you need, crockery and cutlery plus towels and bedding. Even little things like washing up liquid/tea towel, shower gel and hand-wash was provided. Hot tub is amazing, Bluetooth speakers and led lights were a great touch. So peaceful and quiet, you can see for miles. We were lucky and weather wasn't too bad, but was cosy inside and hot tub was under cover. Dogs were friendly and made the odd appearance on our decking but that didn't bother us. Can't wait to go back! Thank you so much

Spent 4 nights in Nith Lodge (2 adults, 2 children) and what a fabulous experience we had! The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. The outdoor eating (bbq) was enjoyable and the views were fantastic. The Lodge indoor facilities were everything advertised - fabulous shower, TV with DVD, fridge, hob, toaster, kettle, eating area and crockery and cutlery. We were out and about most days but returned to the lodge around 3pm to hot tub and chill. What made it even more special was the interaction we had with Dominic and his family - we met the horses, ponies, cows, grumpy goose and his family, pet goose and chickens. Their 3 dogs (Tam, Bruno and Pip) were friendly and visited us (enticed no doubt by the dog biscuits)! Tam was the favourite and if we’d had room in the car, we would’ve smuggled him out with us when we left! Highly recommend these wee gems whether for one night or a longer stay.

Myself & my wife are from the local town of Sanquhar and got the chance to try out the Mennock Lodge. Our stay was fantastic, the lodge had everything we could of imagined and more with some special touches like hand wash, shower gels, tea and coffee which we didn’t expect. There was also a folder with various information including local attractions which I would imagine would be of benefit for people out with the local vicinity. The team at Sunnyside are very helpful, Dominic showed us around the lodge and demonstrated how everything worked.



The lodge it’s self is very spacious with plenty of room, the decor suited the lodge perfectly providing a nice county feel, the mood lighting inside was a favourite of mines. The hot tub was massive with built in Bluetooth and mood lighting. The canopy is a great idea as this provides further privacy but also some shelter from the Scottish weather however once you’re in the hot tub the weather isn’t a factor. The views from the lodges are fantastic and the Mennock one looks over onto the picturesque Lowther Hills.



Although we are only a 5 minute drive from the lodges it felt like a million miles away, perfect to get away for a night or two with minimal hassle of uprooting everything. A great place with great ideas, highly recommended for locals and visitors from afar.

My son and I have just spent five nights in Mennock Lodge and had an amazing time, everything you could want is in place, plus lots of extras. Lovely to come away and only had to bring our personal things. The hot tub has bluetooth and lighting, so sitting in there of an evening was a pleasure. The scenery outstanding when you come from the flatlands, Lincolnshire. What made it so special was Dominic and his parents, they make you so welcome, and are constantly calling to see if you need anything. We will be booking again for next year.

Just home from a 2 night break in Nith lodge. It was fantastic and me and my husband both enjoyed the peaceful location and the chance to chill out. The lodges are lovely and have everything you need, i dont think there is anything they havent thought of. The hot tub is amazing with speakers that you can connect to with bluetooth, this was great as you could chill out and listen to your music. The views are beautiful and you can walk for miles. The owners are so friendly and go out of their way to make you welcome, the dogs come to visit on occasion too which is nice. Definately recommend booking up. We are planning our next visit already. Just got back from a 2 night stay in Mennock pod. The pod itself was perfect, very clean and all the gadgets and facilities you need. The hot tub was amazing the views from the tub itself are fantastic. Great place to visit if your wanting a quiet few nights away. Dominic was very friendly and on arrival showed us how to work the hot tub and everything inside the pod.

Just came back from a fabulous two night stay with my husband and two kids the pod itself was great it’s well planned out with a lovely little bathroom shower and kitchen area there’s a kids play area right in front of pods so kids were happy they could come and go and we could keep an eye on them,and the hot tub was just amazing definitely the icing on the cake! the owner are are all lovely and happy to chat and we all loved the friendly sheep dogs can’t wait to come back!

Just back from an amazing couple of days here. Was brilliant from start to finish, and the owners couldnt have been any nicer. Its only on your doorstep but you feel one million miles away from home. Just back from a brilliant two night stay in the Nith lodge with my husband and 2 children.We all had a fantastic time!The lodges are clean,modern,cosy and spacious and have everything you could need for a short break.The location is stunning and peaceful,just what was needed to relax and unwind.Thank you so much to the lovely family that own the lodges for taking my daughter and myself to meet all the horses and cows..was such a nice touch.The hot tub is just the icing on the cake and being able to connect your music through bluetooth was brilliant.We have already booked to come back in October as we enjoyed it so much..highly reccomended.

the lodge itself was more spacious than what the pictures made out to be. the tiny things like tea coffee etc that were in the pod were a lovely bonus and the hot tub was an amazing way to just relax.



can't fault our stay at all and would definitely recommend other people to give it a go as you wont be disappointed! currently looking at returning in July!

Im just back from this beautiful place with my girlfriend , we were there two nights and didnt want to leave the place is just so peaceful , the owners are really nice people and made us feel very welcome , there animals were very friendly aswell horses were stunning �the pod was very spacious and clean everything that you need is in the pod , the hot tub was magical and the spectacular views are endless me and my girlfriend will definitely be back and we highly recommend �

I won an overnight stay in the Mennock pod at Sunnyside Lodges and stayed there on Sunday 15th April. Dominic showed us to the pod and where everything was. He also showed us how to use the hot tub. The pod was immaculate and had everything you could think of. It was so quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed after a busy weekend celebrating my son's 18th. We ordered a Chinese after an afternoon in the hot tub which is first class with its Bluetooth and disco lights. We sat later having a drink and enjoyed the views and tranquillity. Such an amazing place and we will definetly be back. Thankyou again for this amazing prize.

Had a fantastic nights stay at the Lodge last weekend. Beautiful setting with fantastic views of the area especially with snow. Hot tub was lovely and warm and more than big enough for four people as was the lodge itself with everything you could possibly need. Dominic couldn't of been more helpful and made prior arrangements with us to collect us at the bottom of the hill due to snow and even come back for another one of the group later and took up back down at 8am on a Monday morning, not ideal for him but it wasn't a problem at all. Brilliant night away all round. Thank you!
