The weather may finally be turning and it’s getting hot out there!
Please take extra care with your cakes... weather, heat and humidity can cause them to melt, sweat and turn from lush to mush!
... So if you are collecting or transporting them to the party venue follow these rules
*keep them flat - in the footwell or boot *keep them cool - air conditioning on in the car- once home keep out of sunlight and away from heat sources (not in the fridge) *dont put them in the car and keep them in it any longer than necessary. Treat it like ice cream you buy them last and take it straight home you don’t take them for a jolly around town 😂 *lastly once cut wrap well and store in the cake box provided in a cool place - heat can drastically decrease the shelf life
