Neuroscience for Effective Clinical Practice I’m excited to have teamed up with John and Sandra Wilson at Online Events (www.onlinevents.co.uk) to produce a new online workshop. We’re looking at a new way to offer CPD training workshops. These will be presented in an online, interactive format that will make it easier for people to attend. CPD in your own home! This workshop is normally presented as a 2-day workshop, so we thought that having it in 4 ‘sessions’ would allow mo...re flexibility for people to attend. And, of course, you can be anywhere in the world to do that! The sessions will consist of ‘formal’ presentations from the facilitator (Me!), in which all the participants can take part, small groups to do ‘experiential exercises’ together in ‘break-out rooms’, and getting back together for discussion as a whole group. Much like what would occur in a workshop that you would attend in person. This is exploratory work! We’re excited about developing it and so would welcome feedback about your experience. Firstly, about the idea of doing workshops ‘online’. What do you think about this idea? Are you interested, excited? Are there any reservations? Secondly, from all you brave souls who sign up for the first sessions, we’d love to hear about the experience. What’s it been like to take part in this ‘virtual reality’? what works, and what are the pitfalls? The session dates are: Monday 11th Feb ’19. I'm excited to be developing two new workshops along with Online Events. As well as presenting them in Glasgow, we're looking at a new format for presenting the workshops online. The first workshop will be run over 4 evenings, once a month. They will be interactive, allowing discussion between facilitator and participants, with 'break out' small groups, and will have experiential content as well as more formal input. I'm presenting on Tuesday 27th Nov on Online Events at 11.30 and 14.30 to give details of both workshops, so get registered to find out more!
