Amid all that is going on we are doing our best to maintain a regular service while also doing all we can to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
The shop door is open but we ask that everyone calls ahead TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and makes use of the racks on the pavement to leave and collect everything. Bills can be paid over the phone.

COVID19 UPDATE TUESDAY 24TH MARCH
The government has released a document allowing certain key businesses to remain open during this difficult time. Synergy cycles as a bike shop retailer is one such business.
As a small specialist retailer we will take this opportunity to continue trading but will do so taking every precaution we can to safeguard ourselves and the community.

*Please respect all directions given in the shop to ensure social distancing practices are followed.
*Bikes can be left and collected on the rack outside and all bills can be settled over the phone.
*Customers who would prefer to collect things outside or have things delivered need only ask.
We want to make it easy for you to continue cycling so all reasonable requests will be listened to. These will be tough times but respecting the points mentioned means we can at least do our best to provide a little relief and keep people fit and healthy and getting to their own place of key work.
Cycling in groups is prohibited and all cyclists should ensure that they ride well within themselves to prevent accidents and putting further stress on the NHS.
Our opening hours are likely to change so please keep an eye out for an update here.

In light of the government's announcements this evening and for the avoidance of all doubt; SYNERGY CYCLES WILL REMAIN OPEN.
Our cafe offering will be reduced to takeaway only and limited to hot drinks, cakes, soup and toasties. Our cycle rack will remain in place for somewhere to park safely while you consume your food off the premises or to leave your bike for servicing.
We welcome phone orders also to limit time spent on site. With that in mind please also respect any di...rections given by the team in the event we should become busy. Limited tables and chairs will remain outside in case a queue forms.
Our bike shop and workshop remain open as usual. If you wish to have things delivered or to collect your serviced bike up from the rack outside, without coming in, just let us know. We are grateful for your business in this uncertain time and we shall endeavour to provide you with the excellent Synergy customer experience you have come to expect from us over the last 6 years.
Our community electric bikes are still available for rent and given the circumstances and the importance of staying occupied and keeping fit at this time we have made even more of our bikes available for the community to use FREE OF CHARGE. Please call us to make a booking.

You'll notice our rack outside the shop which both represents the beginning of the season for us but also this year offers customers the opportunity to leave their bikes for servicing or upgrades without entering the shop if they feel more comfortable doing so. You can of course reach us by email, messenger or phone to discuss particulars. Please also don't forget our 20 mile radius pick up and drop off during these times.

World Health Organization (WHO) Guidelines on Social Distancing actively encourage cycling for health of body & mind. Cycling has always been vital tonic for us in the face of challenges and this one is no different! While Keeping Calm and Carrying on is our current status we are treating COVID-19 with an appropriate level of respect. We’re following guidelines on cleanliness and contact in the shop but beyond this we’d urge anyone who is considering minimising their contact or travel in the forthcoming weeks and months to bring forward any plans you have that require our help to keep you cycling. We'll do our best to make that as easy as possible for you.
We are able to offer a collectio...n and delivery service within a 20 mile radius from the shop to your home for both servicing and new bikes.
