***MESSAGE FROM EX CHAIRMAN DAVIE JOHNSTON***
On Tuesday, I along with Paul Paton attended the funeral of our ex-coach Jim Davies.
The crematorium at Camelon was full, giving Jim the send off he fully deserved.
... A smashing lad who spent a few years at the Club. In the Club's darkest moments when we were moved from our spiritual home at the old ICI the Club was informed we had 30 days to remove our facility or it woud be flattened with everything around it.
We fortunately agreed a short term lease at Little Kerse. Jim being a fencer to trade offered to remove and re-erect around the facility at Little Kerse which still remains in place. He asked for no payment and no recognition for his labour. He just wanted to do his bit for the Club
One of life's good guys, he will be sorely missed.
A minute's applause prior to the first game of the season would be appropriate and I sincerely hope the Club will make the necessary representation to the respective leagues to let us show our respect to one of our own.
Thanks, Davie

RESULT| UNDER 17 FRIENDLY Syngenta Juveniles 4 - 0 Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers Goals Clark, OG (awarded to Graham) McKillop & Thomson MOM: team effort every player wearing black and showing loyalty
... Well done tonight lads quality effort and very pleasing on the eye at times ,,,,,,,i think we pretty much controlled the game from start to finish. However a couple of shakey moments and some really excellent saves from Jay kept us in the game at 0-0 .......
But our quality showed in the end running out 4-0 winners ..........1st goal came after some great work on the left and an opportunist finish from Sam.. the second from the free kick form Ben leading to the OG ..........third a great team goal finished off by Kai rounding the keeper showing a touch of class and the final goal thoroughly deserved and finished by Nathan after his hard work to win the ball ........
Definitely a fair bit of quality and thanks to current players and all our additional players Jack Joel Nathan Kai and Niall who all showed their intent and adding to a quality team effort ....#effort #commitment #playerloyalty #monthedyes
Thanks to Taylor Platt also for helping out due to 4 late call off's

SYNGENTA PANTOMIME OR BALLET? Really excellent video about Ostersunds who came up from lower tier of Scandinavian football to play in Europe and how the club has built a culture and community amongst its players, coaches, parents and sponsors.. all working towards one goal. The way forward for boys clubs wanting to grow.. need to focus on the infrastructure now and partnerships. Great watch.

NEW SEASON PREPARATION CONTINUES! With a little over a month till the big kick off most of our squads and players are returning to action now at Little Kerse.. and further away!
Our 2003s were working hard in the dunes at Gullane today, made famous by the legendary Jock Wallace.
... A number of our 2004 Juveniles (3 pictured) took part down in a national camp at Largs over a two night stay.
And finally the facility is continuing to get its summer spruce up with grass cutting well underway!
The clock is counting..
