As our King Taco menu is going full swing, we decided to make a cocktail to celebrate Mexico and itŌĆÖs strange tales, including the one about the bandit who stole a melon, only to have a spectre steal it from him. Ocho 8 is shaken with melon liqueur, fresh pineapple cordial, lemon, orange bitters and a Wray and Nephew mist. The Fantasma Fruta!!

Wee gem of a place in the midst of mayhem in the City Centre. The food is excellent, the ambient atmosphere is awesome and the staff are very professional whilst being very attentive and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place. I

Last Saturday my boyfriend and I weer trying hard to beat our post holiday blues and we were failing big time also. We came to Tabac for a quick drink and my oh my!!! I was completely stunned by the amazing interior design that has been done. Every object has been put in it's placed precisely and if Tamara Lempicka would be still alive that would be her place to hang out in Glasgow.

We were so excited by the wee gem that Tabac is that we've ordered champagne straight away. Food was a total mind blown, no it was orgasmic!

From lamb ribs to pigeon to EVERYTHING we have tried that evening. Michelin star quality and standing ovation for the talented chef(s). I've actually ran to the kitchen window and yelled: OMFG , where you guys have been hiding! They thought I must have lost my mind and they were right. Reason: their food!!!

Let's not forget about amazing staff. Not only they are very pleasant to look at all of the guys are super professional.

New place are popping up all the time in town but Tabac is truly exceptional and will survive changing trends on the market.

Great wee bar. Excellent atmosphere great music and good choice of drinks. Pizzas were superb and all for a good price.

Delicious late lunch for 3 of us. Friendly service. Would have been perfect if they'd had skimmed milk & decaf coffee. Will def be back. Food was great.

Went in last week for lunch with my friend. Dropped a receipt between the bench and wall next to window. Reached down to get it and burnt my arm on the heating pipes under the bench. Emailed Tabac to let them know what happened and hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. Have had no acknowledgment of my email, so I am posting here to raise awareness in case anyone else might have a similar experience. Apart from the painful burn, it was a pleasant lunch with nice food and friendly staff.

Went in for dinner by myself before getting the train home. The beef burger is really, really good! Staff were lovely too - very friendly. Nice ambience inside the place and quite dark too, so I didn't feel too conspicuous sitting on my own.

I was in last night with my partner, and have never been met with such rude staff! We sat down at a table where no cutlery was set, but the table beside was set and reserved.

One rude waitress asked rather abruptly if we would move when the reserved party arrived, to which we agreed.

Followed by a pretentious bar staff (male) to tell us to finish our drinks and leave the bar.

Lovely treatment to customers!

Food is good but serving schooners 3/4 pint for around same as a pint...having a laugh
