Ate here in Oct 17, I had a Madras that was amazing good service staff friendly
Returned after 2 years to this place. Food is still delicious, staff is very friendly and the price is just right! Best Chiken Tika Masala I‘ve ever had! Definetly worth a visit.
Served chicken wen ordered for veg..
Later changed the dish.

Just came across it while visiting Oban. The food I had was very good. Service was good and as I'd expect.

Unbelievably rude staff. We just sat down and asked about preperation of a certain dish as we were exploring good indian food in Oban. But the waiter just shot off in a tangent implying 'no questions will be entertained' and self proclaimed that they were the best in a very rude manor. When clearly the restaurant was empty and the hospitality shown right from the beging as we entered the restaurant was pathetic. Horrible experience.
You would eventually lose your apetite due to the rude staff. Stay clear of this one!
Would highly recommend this restaurant based on our midweek visit. Meal was superb. Set meal for 2. Generous portions and very tasty. Staff very attentive and friendly. Pleasant surroundings. This was our second visit - both equally good.
Best Indian food outside of India. I was eating here weekly when I lived in Oban. Highly recommended. Bring my family and friends here whenever they visit. I wish you delivered because I now live on Seil.
Cheap no frills curry. Good service and friendly waiters.
Extremely rude and uninterested staff with horrible, and unathentic indian food.Ordered chicken Tikka masala: the gravy had raw unevenly chopped onion and thick slices of uncooked tomatoes, no flavour, and Tikka pieces cold and dry. Saag panzer was in fact spinach which was thickly chopped (instead of smooth silky puree)with raw onion, paneer was not pan fried. The server started bragging about his 14 years of experience and claimed that this is how palak paneer is made in India and in England.
Not been disappointed in the 5 year my family have ate here, food amazing and staff all lovely.
