Another Alpine summer is over for me. Here's my annual blog full of my favourite images.

Just finished 10 days guiding on the Walkers Haute Route, Chamonix to Zermatt. Guiding for Mont Blanc Treks. A few photos from last 10 days. So that's the end of my Alpine Summer work. It was a blast.

Back home!

Half way through a TMB trip. Quick update on what's been going on. Busy in The Alps again and busy back home with a few more winter course bookings and trips for summer 2019! Here's some pics from the kast few days. Guiding for #alpinetreks this week.

Just finished guiding on a Walkers Haute Route. Chamonix to Zermatt. 10 days of fantastic Alpine scenery and good company. Guiding for #Cloud9adventure / #tracksandtrails.

I love it when folk start booking on courses and trips well in advance. 2 winter courses in December and a TMB for 2019. :-)

Day off work today. Where would you go from Zermatt if you just had one day?

Guiding on a 7 day highlights of The Walkers Haute Route this week. A great group of 4 ladies from the USA. Guiding for Mont Blanc Treks again. #montblanctreks

Out again in the Alps for a few weeks. 3 Haute Route trips coming up. Starting in great style thos week.

The best thing about Gary is not just that he's a brilliant guide, (which he is), but that it's like hiking in the mountains with a mate. The best!

I had a 4 day winter course with Gary and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I gained so much confidence with all winter skills practised in particular steeper ground. Gary is patient and really easy to get on with, highly recommend!

Gary is s great guide, highly knowledgeable, and experienced, above all he kept our group safe throughout our 3 peaks challenge!!!

Gary is great, so comfortable in the hills, makes you feel relaxed & comfortable so you can enjoy the day & amazing views whatever the weather throws at you.

Gary is absolutely passionate about what he does and is so calm in the mountains. He is very thorough when explaining techniques and is very helpful and supportive at all times. A brilliant course and a brilliant instructor. Would highly recommend.

Gary is a fantastic mountain guide who shares his love of the mountains, wildlife and birds with enthusiasm. On the recent Patagonian icecap trip he demonstrated a balance of encouragement and humour that gave me the motivation during some tough moments. It was also a highly effective weight loss opportunity with most of us losing a stone in weight! Highly recommended, and I'll be joining him in the Cairngorms soon.

Fantastic trip in a snowhole. Gary is exceptionally knowledgable and a really great guy - thanks a lot Gary!
