I try to stay away from hyperbolic reviews, but this was literally one of the worst cups of coffee I've ever had. Poor-quality beans, terrible extraction, tasted like drain water - I literally had a few mouthfuls and then had to put the rest in the bin. Wouldn't go back if it was free.

We walked there for a great breakfast after spending a night at the Dundee Backpackers. Good service, great coffee and full breakfast. Enjoy.

It's a shame that their quality of food doesn't measure up to their quality of service. I walked in thinking that you ordered your food and drink at the till, waited for it, then brought it over to your seat, yourself. Old, grumpy woman gave me grief for it being 'sit in service' and that the servers came to you. I felt like I couldn't sit and read my book in peace because the energy the staff gave me was so negative. Cake and coffee were amazing, but not a great enough experience to go back.

The café atmosphere is friendly and the service good. I don't agree with the reviews I read which say the food is average and service poor.

Amazing independent coffee house. Delicious food and good quality coffee. Staff are very friendly and also a relaxed atomosphere in the cafe, would definitely visit again!

I used to come here for soup for lunch (used to be not bad for the price) but the grumpy man with glasses that works there made me wait for 15minutes before not serving me at all as he was very busy with something over there. Yeah right. Will not visit again as the quality of service has dipped significantly. Theres plenty of other nice cafes in dundee.
