Super busy week ahead this week, and its only a 4 day one! Eek! Lots of networking events in evenings and mornings so we have a few house guests staying at Tatty Rose HQ. Got the lovely Liz from The Tartan Carrot and super talented Gillian from BlockFace Design Studio. That's everything looking good, now to get some chocolates for their pillows. Vegan one for Liz obviously!
How have you all spent your Easter Holiday?

I adore personal quirky items for the home. I made this for my hallway. Home 100% is where my cats are. Every night they greet me at the door and then cuddle beside me on the sofa. Without them, my home would be empty.
Do you have a pet that helps make your house a home?

What are your thoughts on industrial lighting? I actually can't get enough, from Desk Lamps from IKEA to my Dads old cage lamp for fixing cars.

I love working with concrete. It has to be one of my favourite materials. It can add so much depth to a delicate piece. What are your thoughts on using concrete for interiors?

In the blog I am writing, I am talking about my key items I must take with me to every house I live in. My Grans sewing machine has to be in my top 3... Cats first then I suppose Mr TR!
What is the most important item in your home, that you just can't live without?

Would this be your choice of an up cycled fireplace?

Went for a lovely walk with Sew Confident Ltd up Conic Hill yesterday. Hasn't the weekend just been absolutely stunning weather?
After all our hard work we had to stop and have some cake and tea. I was very impressed with the #upcycling of the tea room at the bottom of the hill. How fantastic if that door handle??

I've been asked to write a series of blogs for a client. Being blessed with the dyslexia brain, I have always been a little self-conscious. It has its pros, but it really does make me feel the fear of people reading my work. I normally write so messily that no one can read my writing, this method has backfired a lot though as I sometimes can't read my own writing!!
But I have decided to just Feel the Fear and do it anyway. I am very passionate about homes, interiors and design. Let's hope I can compose a few good tea break reads! :)
