Taybank Growers Cooperative Description

​Taybank Growers Co-operative is run by Jonny Agnew, Dave Shand and Roz Corbett. We set up the market garden at Blackhaugh Farm on the edge of the village of Spittalfield in Perthshire in the spring of 2017.

We sell delicious, healthy veg, which you can pick up direct from our farm gate or Mitchells Newsagent and Blairgowrie Farm Shop

Market Gardener Job in Perthshire - Grower Director - Apply by 7th Jan
Taybank Growers Cooperative (Roz Corbett and Johnny Agnew) are looking for a third person to join their market gardening cooperative.
Based at Blackhaugh Community Farm, Spittalfield PH1 4JZ, we are about to enter our third year of running a market garden. We run a veg box scheme, sell from the farm gate and to local businesses, all within 10 miles of the farm. We have established significant infrastructur...e over the first two years including two polytunnels, a deer fence and multi-purpose shed and have gained support from the local community.
We are looking for someone with growing experience and business skills to help make our ecological, community supported farming project a success. We need someone available for part time work for a share of income.

We're having a Christmas Party! To celebrate the end of our second growing season we're having party and would love for our friends, customers and box scheme members to come along. Join us at Spittalfield Hall this Friday for to hear all about our plans for 2019, join in with some Christmas craft and watch the documentary film 'In Our Hands' (www.inourhands.film). There will be soup and snacks and bring your favourite recipes (hopefully using our veg!) to swap. Everyone welcome.

Free pumpkins! We have a load of pumpkins with small nibbles out of them. We can't store them but they are still great for eating and carving. Grown without chemicals at Blackhaugh Farm. Pick them up from the farm or the heat project office in Blairgowrie. Donations welcome.
