Taylor Bowls International Charity Challenge
This year sees the 12th Taylor Bowls International Charity Challenge taking place at Scarborough Indoor Bowls Centre on Saturday 6th April from 12pm –5pm.
Since its inception the players have raised over £55,000 for charity. The current charity they are raising for is Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland.
... The majority of the teams are made up from club players from all over the UK. Anyone is welcome to play in the game although it was decided that players who played last year gets 1st chance this year.

The current total for this year stands at £2,519.50! Spectators are most welcome. There is no entry fee and food is available all day. There is a raffle too with lots of great prizes!

Our headline sponsor for the National Finals event at Arbroath, Taylor Bowls Ltd, will have a Trade Stand throughout the day on Saturday.

TAYLOR BOWLS PLAYER LOUIS RIDOUT CLAIMS BOWLER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Devon’s Louis Ridout scooped the Bowls England Male Bowler of the Year at the Bowls England Men’s Annual Dinner and Presentation of Prizes in Coventry on Saturday (23rd February).
A shortlist for each award was compiled, with a public vote then taking place to crown the respective winners.

Congratulation's to Team Taylor's Ross Owen who has be picked for the upcoming Atlantic Championships in May at Cardiff.

Congratulation's David Wiltshire from Cornwall who won a New Taylor Ultimate Trolley Bag in the November edition of the Bowls International Magazine. David plays indoor at Caradon Bowls Club using a Taylor Blaze and outdoor at Liskeard Bowling Club using a Taylor Ace.

STEWART ANDERSON THROUGH TO WORLD INDOOR SINGLES FINAL
What a performance by our very own Stewart Anderson to win through to the World Indoor Singles Final @ Potters tomorrow afternoon. (Sunday 27th @ 2.30pm)
Precision bowling throughout his 8-6, 8-7 win over number 12 seed Les Gillett saw him safely through 👏👏👏
... His final opponent will be Simon Skelton from Nottingham - a qualifier into this event.
He produced a powerhouse finish against former champ Nicky Brett, winning 2-9, 8-7, 2-1 after an intense three end tie break!
Hope it’s a great final .... Stewart has been in awesome form since winning the International Open title at Perth in November.

Darren Burnett was pipped at the post by Simon Skelton while Nicky Brett beat his pairs partner Greg Harlow.

In the concluding 2nd Round matches Darren came through a tough game against Norfolk’s Mervyn King 11-4, 7-7 and lines up in the last quarter final today (Friday) against qualifier Simon Skelton.
Stewart and reigning champion Mark... Dawes will be the first of the quarter finalists in action ... at 10am.
Five of the eight players still involved have already gone the full distance over the years so there should be some big battles for slots in Saturdays semi finals ... GOOD LUCK.

Why is there no reference to the half pipe bowl on your web sites? You're giving Aero Bowls a free ride

Very exited have ordered a set of Ace with half pipe grip lovely bowls.

I was wondering being new to bowls about the physical weight of the differing sizes. Because I have a damaged thumb I cannot bend it back enough to grip a larger bowl and following a visit to a bowls shop find only 00 size is possible.

These are lighter I don't need lighter just smaller. Would it not be possible for smaller diameter bowls to keep the same weight as the larger. ie. A lead inset to produce different size bowls of the same weight. Just wondering

Just wish they would do bigger sizes .

Other that that they do a great range off bowling equipment .

Inconsistent woods, each batch runs different from the next...yet therefore same wood, date stamp size and weight.

New bowls ordered via the Bowls Locker in Woodford Halse, paid for in January 2015, now 11weeks later and still waiting. Very frustrating. Unlikely to be a return customer.
