Tayside Diesel are pleased to announce that we have completed work on a contract awarded to us by NHS South Teeside to provide emergency standby generators whilst carrying out repairs to their existing MTU generators. We understand that patients are the first priority in all that the NHS does. With this in mind, our main priority was to maintain the highest of standards in safety and quality while also completing all work in an efficient and timely manner. Our experienced engineers carried out all work in accordance with MTU guidelines, ensuring that the final outcome is of the highest possible standard in terms of safety and quality. This exciting new opportunity has allowed us to expand our client base and we hope to continue developing a working partnership with the NHS in the future.

Tayside Diesel Engineering Ltd is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a 3 year contract for Diesel Engine Maintenance Services by Total E&P UK Ltd. Due to the tough economic times facing the Oil & Gas Industry, efficiency is the main priority while maintaining the highest of standards in safety and quality. We are confident in our ability to provide innovative, cost-reducing solutions to all the applications that we work on. We have held various contracts with Total E&P UK Ltd over the years for similar services and we are looking forward to our continued working partnership for the years ahead.

It is with great sadness that we have received the news of the passing of Ronny Macaskill who was a friend and work colleague of all at Tayside Diesel. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

Tayside Diesel has just completed another complete MTU engine overhaul. The engine has been fully tested and is now ready to be shipped back offshore where it is used as a fire pump.
