In reply to some recent messages we’ve had, due to the recent developments regarding COVID-19 and advice from the government last week, Tayside Tuning has been officially closed since 24th March and will remain so until 15th April at the earliest.
The health and well-being of myself and our customers is the utmost priority and as such we have decided to close. I will still be available to answer messages and phone calls and can arrange bookings for after the lockdown has been... lifted.
Meanwhile, take advice and stay at home! Support our NHS and save lives!

Job from a few weeks ago, Subaru Impreza Boxer Diesel in with repetitive DPF problems.

VW Passat 1.9 TDI in recently to have the immobiliser removed in order to use a previously tuned ECU from a different vehicle.
With the ECU removed, we are able to read and remove the immobiliser, saving the hassle and expense of swapping keys, clocks, transponder etc that would otherwise be required in this situation.

Ford Transit 2.2 TDCI with various DPF issues in this week.
With the DPF physically removed we were then able to remove the software associated with it, preventing any future problems, as well as carrying out a full remap at the same time.
