James Oakden BHSI has ridden up to 4 star competing at Badminton 94, 2000 and Burghley 95, 99, 2000 also being long listed for the world championships in 1994. He is a signed up Course designer for British Eventing and has been an organiser of British Eventing and FEI competitions in eventing. Although now riding less horses he is now back up to Intermediate level with Lisa Anderson's horse Athlone David and is still thinking about the next level.
Sarah Oakden BHSAI has been riding before she could walk with her younger years being focussed on BSPS classes where at 9yrs old she was the youngest to ride at HOYS that year and over many years competing at all the top shows in the country in WHP classes and, riding for English teams. She started teaching in the grassroots of Pony Club back in England and over the years has built up her skills in the coaching world as well as helping James with organising lots of events which she feels has topped up her knowledge of eventing /course design even more.
As a couple and individually they have trained many people from the Grass roots level eventing to Advanced and also over the last 3 years getting WHP's to HOYS.
They are both task masters but, there is one thing for sure. . . . . . . they 'care' about each and every one of their clients, new and old.
