Read this and realise that while some folk are chanting ‘Stay at home you selfish pricks’ it’s not as easy for some of us. This post i’ve shared is put way more politely than I was gonna put it!
My heart goes out to every small business out there who like me will be shitting themselves at this moment in time. Your business becomes way more than a place to call work or a place to make money.... You put your heart and soul into it and it becomes such a massive part of your life.
Everyone who knows us in Ted’s knows how much we love this wee place, and to think that something like this that is totally out of our control is gonna make us have to close the door for god knows how long is heartbreaking.
Am I getting any rent relief for my shop from my landlord? Am I fuck. Are the government doing anything to help the self employed ones who have pumped their hard earned cash into the system? Are they fuck. We’re getting made to jump through hoops with our arses on fire and still getting no where.
So while you’re sitting there in the safety of your homes stating the obvious and wondering why some of us aren’t. Just remember we’re not as lucky as you!

💈 The problem with loving this wee place so much just makes the thought of having to close it against our will so sad. The government won’t be clarifying if Barber shops have to shut until Monday. So until then we will be staying open and just ask anyone showing any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone that has, or those of you that have been abroad in the last couple of weeks to please hold off coming in. Will keep you all updated. 💈♥️
