I just want to take the time to thank Ashleigh who works on the checkout in your Perth, Crieff Road store. While my husband & myself were bagging our shopping, my curious 3 year old daughter went to Ashleigh's side of the checkout for a wee nosey. Ashleigh kindly asked her if she wanted to help & of course Hannah said yes. Hannah helped scan the rest of the shopping with a beaming smile on her face & took her role very serious. Ashleigh is a credit to your Crieff Road store & made my little girls day ☺️❤️ Thank you xx

Well, yeah store is massive, but product choose very limited! I mean they still dosent sale things like french macaroons and there deserts section is nonsense. They have 10 different varieties of pudding or 15 varieties of cheescakes, so its looks very big and busy, but if tou dont like puddings or cheescakes your 3rd option can only be victoria sponge, again 20 varieties of it! They use to sale french "mansone" selection of finger cakes for 3.50£ and they was very popular even local tesco employees was asking me where did i get them, but somehow they took them away from shelves and replace them With more varieties of anointing cheescakes. I know Brittish people was always conservative with there food and dont like trying new things, but come on what about peopel like me with educated palette! Same thing they did with Feta Chees. They had amazing Tesco Finest Feta Chees in marinated water. Bit more expensive than average Feta, but was worse evrey penny and many people was dead happy to oay extra for quality, how i know that for fact , easy i go to tesco every day and notice if stuff fill up fetas section with finest feta its be gone within 24 hours when other brands feta's be there for long time. So dont get it at all! If Tesco managment team member will ever read that please, please do something about it! i can understand that Tescos main customers are working class peopel and bla bla bla, but please give us more stuff, from different country's like France, Italy etc. That way you make us happy and have a hope that locals will also one day change there mind and try to educate there pallets too! Dont be like Americans pizza, burgers and hot dogs, be more like your clouse neighbors from continental europe. Give us more of spanish sausages and french deserts insted of being conservative! Actually even Americans now days invited Gordon Ramsay and we have 1000's like Gordon Ramsay, so pleSe dont ignore them!

I have spent a small fortune at Tesco over the years and on the whole have happy with them, but over the last year or so I've started to go elsewhere more.

Last year 2015 I was followed around the clothing department by some form of employee, for what reason I don't know but I deliberately walked round and round, and from the corner of my eye saw her very deliberately follow me about a foot from my back. There was no reason too as I had a basket of goods in my hand and wasn't acting suspiciously. I just paid and left, but in hindsight I wish I'd confronted her and reported it too a manager. It was embarrassing as loads of other customers saw it.

Another occasion I took a car fan back as it went on fire in my car, I took it too customer service (ha ha) where a female employee chastised me for being there too early (it was 11am) and then as I left I was stopped by a security guard as the alarm went off, I returned to the desk (manhandled by the security guard, which I didn't appreciate) where the assistant took the tag off she forgot to remove, smirking and saying that what I get for being early!! When was 11 am early?

This is a great Tesco. The size is that big that the range of products can match. They even have a kitchen where you can sometimes be asked to sample products for free (I've paced back and forth many times hoping they see me and ask, my day will come).

Largish Tesco store across from B&Q in Perth. Parking is plentiful. Interestingly they have a kitchen for trailing new products not yet to market so you often get asked if you will do taste tests for them.
