And it's a cushion!! The top bit is knitted and the cream bottom bit is crocheted! I like the combination and really started to enjoy crocheting. 😀

Started some knitting! Don't know what I will make it into yet. But we'll see! 😀

Just in case anyone has been wondering what became of my Christmas stitching.... ;-) Always nice to finish a project. :-D

I've been a bit busy lately with other things, but to keep creative I try making little collages every now and then! I've got this little journal, which I use to make a different collage on each page. So nice to do! And because the size is not too big, you can be finished in an evening!

Inspiration in the weekend: A book I borrowed from the library this week! Full of lovely projects, using all sorts of materials etc! Really recommended! Stitched Memories, by Tilly Rose.

Inspiration on Thursday: I work in a Christian bookshop and we sell also cards and other things. One range of cards and other articles really jumps out! Hannah Dunnett makes beautiful paintings and works various encouraging Bible verses and songtexts into her pictures! By now the range exists of cards, bags, posters, coasters and much more, all with her beautiful artwork!! https://www.benandhannahdunnett.com/

This month I'm doing a sort of 'spring clean' through my house! I'm doing it slowly (every day a bit) so I don't get bored. ;-) Nice thing is I find things that give me inspiration for more crafts to make! :-)

Inspiration on Thursday: Wow, you can use anything to make something beautiful!! This Brazilian artist makes mini embroidery artworks, on tree leaves!! Very beautiful! http://www.arteoficioatelie.com.br/

Another older project that I made some years ago: a little painted frame, a nice background and a little fabric lady singing. :-) It was a bit of a fiddly job, but the result is nice! 😁 (Although I do need to work on facial expressions a bit. 😜)

Some years ago I started making this little book with collages about travelling. I've only done 2 pages so far, but they're quite nice! :-) As the base I'm using a little photo wallet, so I can put little notes inside them as well.

Inspiration on Thursday: Alice is a Dutch Textile Artist who combines oil paint, textiles and threads into beautiful artworks. At first sight you might think you see an oil painting, but upon looking closer the 'pencil strokes' consist of thousands of little needle stitches with different coloured threads! http://www.alicetextileart.nl/eng-textile art.htm
