Good evening all you fabulous people..... it seems someone has taken a fancy to our lovely benches.... by any chance did anyone notice someone walking through Elie at any point between 11pm last night and 30 minutes ago when Stu A Foxx noticed they had vanished..... ¤śé¤śé¤śé¤śé
if not can you all please share and keep your eyes peeled for them turning up on someoneŌĆÖs elseŌĆÖs property so I can politely ask for them back .....
They were gifted to us and itŌĆÖs sad that they arenŌĆÖt where... they were left .
Also if you took pictures of our fab scarecrow yesterday can you please let me know the time you took it so we can narrow the time ¤Æŗ

We've picked the fantastic Jura to be our Malt of the Month for April!
Smooth and smoky with a sherry sweetness - make sure you try it on your next visit.

went for lunch .I've been many times forst time for my partner .ordered the balmoral.chicken and it was outstanding ..staff brilliant helpful and friendly. would recommend over and over again

User

We phoned in a panic after a mixup with a table booking elsewhere and the 19th Hole managed to accommodate us at very short notice. I have to say this was a fantastic find. Staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating as they moved us to a slightly larger table for our party as soon as one became available on a busy Bank Holiday Saturday evening. Food was fantastic with absolutely delicious Cullen Skink. Service was at our pace which was ideal. Really friendly and a family oriented atmosphere. A chap even got his guitar out and the evening ended in a singsong, will definitely be back Thank you ¤æī¤æī

User

Sitting in the restaurant right now and loved the food so much just had to say how good it is! I travel lots and eat in many restaurants and this one is definately #1!!!

The steak and ale pie is amazing. And the crumble dessert is fantastic. Presentation as good as the taste!

Two thumbs up and thank you!!!

User

Perfect pit stop at any time of the day ¤æŹ¤Å╗ Great food, friendly staff. Give it a whirl when youŌĆÖre in the area.

User

My first time here tonight and loved it! The food was delicious, really friendly, great service. Will definitely be back!

User

Great hospitality demonstrated by all the staff. Warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere in very tasteful decor. The dog was made very welcome too! Fantastic food and an excellent wine list. The complimentary shuttle bus service is a great idea - we couldn't believe our luck. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back next time we are in the area.

User

Great food, great service ... five of us there for lunch and five happy people left !! Would highly recommend it !! Xx

User

Fantastic service! Practically adopted my elderly mum and her brother this weekend. The staff looked after them superbly and made sure they were well fed and happy. A special thanks to Michelle and Steven. I'm sure they'll be back and thank you again for making their break so special :-)

User

Fantastic place and would highly recommend. A very friendly welcome, great food, and even the dog enjoyed the ambience :-)

User

Brilliant view, staff, location, food and u can take dogs in the bar area. Very quirky pub brilliant wud highly recommended

User

Amazing food wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The head chef Zara is lovely. Will definitely be back.

User

Lovely wee pub, had a great bar meal and also welcomes dogs too.

User

Homely little pub on the edge of the golf course. Nice food and welcoming staff.

User

Yeah nice. We went in a big group. They got the order a bit muddled and the menu didn't reflect what was actually available. They also took drink orders and then forgot to bring them. However when the food came it was very good and the staff were very friendly. I would go back but probably not as such a big group the place is set up for a max of 6 at a table. More than that and I think they struggle. Still good though.

User

The food was average and could have been finished a bit better. On a plus note they did accommodate our table of 10 at short notice. I think they were under pressure in the kitchen. Appeared to be only 1 person on shift. I felt sorry for him as he was doing his very best.

User

Much anticipated first trip to the newly refurbished 19th Hole on a quiet Monday afternoon in February. Lovely decor and a roaring fire and beautifully refurbished (sweet smelling) toilets. In our party three adults and six kids. The only other customers were a family of four with two kids under ten and two other men. When we sent the kids through the back to wash their hands we were told by lady behind the bar that she hoped that the kids weren't going to the pool table because it wasn't there any more. As she put it "the cr├©che is now closed". We sat the kids on a table away from the bar and sat in front of the bar ourselves. We we then told we couldn't sit there because we had to supervise our children (they were two metres away) and behaving.

We were thinking about staying for food but there is no kids menu. We were told by another customer that you can get half portions of the food on the menu if you ask but that's not clear from the menu.

The arrival of Jim at 5 o'clock was the only upside of an otherwise very disappointing first impression of the new 19th.

User

Used to be a favourite and visited on a daily basis with numberous meals every holiday but disappointing the last two years. Food significantly more expensive and whilst nice not spectacular enough for the cost nor tasty / variety of specials enough for repeat trips. Elie may be expensive but this great local pub seems to have lost a little soul in keeping up with the smart set. Still it encouraged us to entertain at home and save a small fortune. Miss the bar and the 19th hole painting though.

User

Nice place but bar staff need to work on their service skills when someone plans to spend ┬Ż50 at the bar on New Year's Day.... and refuse to serve j├żgermeister for no good reason? Disappointed.
