The current congregation recognises its role and responsibility in maintaining the Abbey Church of Dunfermline as a place of worship, and also as a Church which plays a major role in the life of the town of Dunfermline.
Those wishing to visit the Abbey Church will find that it is open at the times detailed from April - October. From November to March, those wishing to visit are asked to make contact through the website to see if arrangements can be made.

To mark the beginning of Lent, the Abbey Church of Dunfermline is launching an art competition for primary school children within the Dunfermline area. All the details can be found on the poster, and we look forward to discovering "What Easter means..." to those who take part.

Good morning from Dunfermline Abbey
On Sunday 23rd February, Prime Time is at 9.30am. It's a short time of story, song and prayer with activities associated with the theme of the morning. For all ages, but particularly the younger and more wriggly.
Tea and coffee is served in the church hall from 9:45am.
Morning Worship is at 10.30am.
... It's also Foodshare Sunday, and those coming along are invited to bring an item of non-perishable food for the shopping trolley. The food collected during the morning is given to Frontline Fife to support local need.
All are welcome to all or any part of the morning.
