What a lovely place! I visited for the first time today and was so impressed. They have just about every different type of milk you could want so there is something to suit everyone. I had a latte with oatly and a coronation "chicken" sandwich. The sarnie comes with salad and coleslaw and the portions are huge and excellent value for money. I think the thing that really sets the Acorn apart though is their deli shop. To be able to have lunch and grab the essentials (and an odd treat) is just such a great idea. The staff are lovely and very knowledgable. I really cannot fault it.

Visited here yesterday as a vegan it was lovely to have such a huge amount of choice and to be able to try what other people with me where having! Everything was so good staff were really friendly and helpful and loved that they sell loads of vegan foods there as well. Will def be going back x

Visited for the first time yesterday, my daughter and I had a delicious hot chocolate and selection of pastries. Look forward to going back for lunch in the near future. The staff were really welcoming, just as they always are in the Oak Tree and it’s a lovely place to go for bite to eat.

Today I visited Acorn deli and had a "cheese" and onion pasty and a mint chocolate cake which was vegan and gluten free......Oh my goodness AMAZING! I can't wait to go back. The pasty was something else! ÔøΩ

Super pleased to not only get a takeaway vegan mac & cheese which was delicious but also find that they stock Eden perfumes!!!! ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

Regulars at the oaktree and definitely now the acorn deli too. Great selection and beautiful tea room. Owner even gave me a free mayo to try from the selection in the fridge. The caramel latte cake was amazingly good x

My friend and I visited this afternoon with our pooches. Delicious caramel latte cake and coffee, beautiful clean decor and great selection of vegan products to buy. Lovely friendly staff who made us and the pooches very welcome. Will definitely be back soon.

My friend and I have just visited here and loved it! The food was great, it’s nice and cosy to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink! I had a caramel latte with vanilla soy, it was amazing! Great to know what we were consuming was all vegan. The lady who served us needs a special mention as she was so friendly and full of helpful advice! She made us feel very welcome too. Definately recommend and will 100% return!

I highly recommend this place and of course the oaktree restaurant. Lovely to have a full menu of vegan choices at both. I’ve tried a soup both times at the deli, French onion and garlic broccoli, they were both so flavourful as well as filling with a crouton and served with bread. I think this is a good value light lunch, the other options being a touch pricier than a non-vegan cafe but I’m happy to support a veggie eatery more. The cake was delicious - literally no difference to a non-vegan cake in taste and texture!



They have a number of specialist items stocked such as dairy-free cheeses, mock meats, non-dairy milks, chocolates etc - so great for stocking up on some items too. On the first time I went they had some ‘homemade’ items like chickpea ‘tuna’ mayo which was very moreish.



Definitely worth visiting and supporting an independent, vegan business!

I had the club sandwich and Omni BF had the chilli jacket. Came in super hangry and grumpy after being offered a vegan salad with goats cheese elsewhere. The lovely ladies pretended not to notice my grumpiness while I questioned the menu. I left happy after my sarnie and the best soy latte of life so far. Bonus was reasonably priced vegan black pudding for later.

I had a lentil soup, my companions had a Mediterranean Salad and a Chili Dog. All agreed it was excellent! Nicely situated a very short distance from the bustle of Old Leigh, and about a mile from its equally lovely big brother, the Oak Tree restaurant

I came in today and ordered the egg mayo,, the tuna mayo and the avocado and hummus sandwiches to take away. I'm not vegan but I was visiting a friend who is. Those sandwiches were amazing. I hadn't really thought much about vegan food and wrongly assumed it might be bland and lacking in taste. How wrong I was. Thoroughly tasty and filling. I will be back. X

Had a lovely business brunch today at this little gem. Really enjoyed the ambience & what you had on offer. Had a lovely herbal tea with granary toast & vegan cream cheese with blue berries & raspberries (a lovely touch). Wasn't rushed & had a great friendly service. Also good to shop for vegan store cupboard goodies to take home. Will definitely be back.

Great place for a light lunch and a catch up and also to get some hard to find vegan cooking products! The sandwiches are to die for! The ‘egg mayo’ and ‘tuna’ fillings are amazing and come with a lovely coleslaw and salad, and the soup is very tasty. Loads of great products to buy and fresh cakes! Location is great, right next to old Leigh, offering something different to the other restaurants in the area

Came here last week with my little one who has allergies and it was so refreshing to relax and let her eat with out worrying. Also the lady serving us was fantastic and so friendly- will definitely be coming back!

Not bad but I have to say £8 for a jacket potato with beans is a tad steep!!



Generally think the prices just do not justify the quality of food you get, it was ok but in my mind if you’re opening a vegan restaurant (other than selling cows milk in their coffee everything is vegan) then I would expect the food to be absolutely delicious to appeal to people beyond just the vegan base.
