Just stayed for the weekend, my husband and I loved this hotel, the rooms and restaurant was 1st class. It has a very homely feel to it and is quite modern. It is situated in a quiet village which is lovely and peaceful but is within walking distance to Dunfermline. We only checked out this morning and are already planning our next trip to the Adamson Hotel in the Spring.
Upgraded from what used to be known as the Pitifrane Hotel. Can't speak to the quality as a hotel; it's a mile from our house, so we just go there to dine. Decent menu without being anything special. Good service.
Once had fish and chips. I asked for mushy peas instead of garden peas. Was told this was a cost upgrade! Make of that what you will!
Lovely surroundings food ok nothing amazing, presentation of some items could do with a look at. Service was good although my tip would be let guests sit down for a few minutes before asking them what they would like to drink. Guests feel harassed otherwise. They are there for a relaxed evening not a rushed one.
Very nice, newly refurbished hotel. The decor is great, the rooms are small but nicely laid out, and the beds are comfortable. The shower pressure wasn't great though, however it may be better in a downstairs room. Breakfast was traditional full Scottish fare, and it was good. I would definitely use again if staying over in Dunfermline
Nice clean one bed room, very nice staff.
Lovely surroundings, friendly staff. I'm coeliac and although there wasn't much on the menu, the chef went out of his way to provide a sauce for me, and a lovely desert. My husband had the 'normal' menu and was pleased with it. A wee bit pricy, but very nice.
Had a lovely bar lunch. Food was fantastic and the bar area and staff were great.
Fantastic room, very clean. Lovely bar and bar staff. Great prices on rooms, food and drinks. Best breakfast I've ever had. Hopefully I'll be staying again soon. Highly recommended.
