Excellent Service, Wonderful meal. Can't wait to go back to Alanwater Cafe.

One of the best chip shops in the area. The black pudding supper is amazing and coming with a decent portion of chips and two battered black puddings last me two nights.

Was very disappointed as I had got a sausage supper here yesterday was very dry and overdone I think they are starting to concentrate more on the cafe customers plz get this sorted. There seems to be a lot of young ones working there now maybe something to do with that. Real shame as this use to be a great chip shop 😞

I love the fish & chips here. Gluten free on a Monday means my mum gets her haddock and I get my cod supper. We drive from cumbernauld up to bridge of allan for the excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommended

Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. The small"ish" fish as stated on the menu was more than enough for my friend and I.. .though our other halves had the medium and they were big! Then again, we went for the option with ice cream to follow, so I guess we were just as greedy 😀

We had fish and chips here. It was WONDERFUL. We tried the curry sauce which was very good. We also had the fresh made ice cream, which was delicious.
Note that the large size would be good to share.
We would stop here again if we were in the area.

Always enjoy coming here. Nice day out. Good food, Fantastic ice cream. Generally clean facilities. Only negatives a steady creep in price rises and the ridiculously short time frame for parking.

The allan water cafe is a perfect place to get a quick bite and you will feel great and say that was worth it.

Possibly the best fish and chips in the country with very generous portions. The ice cream is also fabulous.
