Great B and B. The owner was very efficient and looked after us well. The rooms were clean spacious and stylish. The bed was comfortable and large.
Breakfast was freshly made and plentiful.

We were visiting south Ayrshire for a wedding and found this wonderful B&B online. It’s in a stunning rural setting and is modern, friendly and relaxed, with every home comfort at hand. Paul our host went out of his way to be helpful, picking us and dropping us off at the station and our venue. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious (me: scrambled eggs and smoked salmon; hubbie: full Scottish of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushroom, beans and potato scone), served with fresh coffee and delicious croissants and toast. The location is minutes away from some of Ayrshire’s loveliest castles and the birthplace of Rabbie Burns in Alloway, with Ayr and Maybole also close at hand. We also had the comfiest bed in Britain! And there’s an honesty box for the well-stocked mini bar. A big thanks to Paul – we would highly recommend staying at The Arches if you are visiting this part of the world!
