Lovely slice of orange cake and a large Cappuccino. Friendly service. Very welcoming.
Nice wee tea room and they do doggy cones with dog biscuits.
Arrived here at 11.45 to have a sandwich and cuppa but was told the light bites menu wasn't available until 12. Another 4 people came in and were told the same. We had a coffee and left, what a shame, this nice cafe lost the revenue from lunches for 6 people because they couldn't relax their rigid timetable. We were handed the light bite menu at 12 but left as a matter of principal, the other 4 people had scones as they were all hungry but were also handed the light bite menu at 12 and also left after they had eaten them. Surely it would have been better to serve light lunches a bit earlier to get the money into such a small establishment. The jobsworth missed out there.
The employees are fantastic and very friendly. Drinks are standard value, ice-cream was amazing. Would recommend their cakes too!
Enjoyed a family lunch in this beautiful little tea room. The staff were friendly and polite. The scones were delicious as was the other fresh food we ordered. The only downside is that there was a minimum spend of 10pounds to pay by card (this was the same as the shop attached, which meant we missed out on an ice cream :( as there was no ATM around). However, if you are prepared with cash, it's not an issue.
Enjoy!
Great little café, lovely scones home made meals also looked good freshly made when ordered
Looking for sum where ta have a cuppa this is it Love it a must 👌👍
Lovely setting and interior. The menu says the food is freshly prepared and it may take longer when busy but it took 35 mins to make 2 sandwiches and it was not busy .At nearly £7 each sandwich I did not feel this was good value for what we got .There were no vegetarian options on the menu and we had to ask.
Great coffee and cake
