Good chippy kebab meat lovely pizzamade fresh

Chips greasy/soggy,some tasted uncooked,watered down chippy sauce that was everywhere except the chips.Not the same since new owners.

This is our local chippy. It has recently changed owners and is no longer as good as it used to be. The guy who makes the pizza is great and makes good pizza. He also seems like he's the only one who knows what he's doing. He's the only reason why I still go there. Sometimes you need to check the warmer as the fish has been sitting too long or is over cooked in which case I ask for fresh fish to be cooked. Otherwise it's okay.

Extremely disappointed. Chips basically raw potatoes and the onion rings over cooked. Couldn't get through to take away at all so food went in the bin.

Sent me the wrong order,phoned up and the owner never apologized, I ordered two fish suppers and got two single fish instead,he said another customer had got my order and I had there order,he said the other customer didn't complain and I said no wonder they got two fish suppers instead of two single fish. He said he would send me two fish suppers but only sent one and said he would phone me back,which he didn't, so I had to phone him,he was very rude and when I said I wouldn't be using his shop again,he said I am happy with that,that's how he treats loyal customers, I have just started using The Ocean Fish bar in Gorgie,Fish suppers where alot better,more fish and less batter unlike The Balgreen Fryer.

Love food here food cheaper than anywhere in edinburgh excellent quality and fast and friendly service .would highly recommend

White, kids fish supper not even half fish ,but wait for it not even a quarter more batter then fish , pizza burnt better then a crematorium, good luck !.
