Wouldn't go anywhere else to get my hair done! Got my hair done yesterday by my fantastic hairdresser Gillian, went from an Ash blonde to a beautiful red and i'm so happy with the result. Gillian also did all my bridal hair for my wedding and everything looked amazing. Would 100% recommend the barn, fantastic service and amazing stylists! Xx

Walked into the barn recently hoping to get a badly needed trim but had no expectation of being given an appointment or enjoying a haircut.

WOW!! ..... How wrong I was!!



What a brilliant, professional, friendly and efficient group, who looked after me, welcomed me and gave me a haircut that I quite like! As a bloke, you never stray far from the short back and sides but I was pleasantly surprised by the style and the wife loves my new do!!



I stumbled across this new hairdresser on a rare day off during the week. I normally get my hair cut at the ridiculously overpriced pretentious places that are rife in Edinburgh where I work. I will never go anywhere else now. These girls are super and Nic is a really lovely person and also happens to be great at cutting hair!!

Today was my first visit to the salon after it was recommended to me by a friend. Gillian was my stylist and did an absolutely fantastic job. I adore my new colour and she cut my hair really well whilst keeping the length. I will ABSOLUTELY be going back and highly recommend them to anyone.

Just had my over needed cut for the first time at The Barn, was lovely, very happy with it, the atmosphere in there is quite refreshing as well, especially for someone like me who isn't a fan of being near people and talking, I recommend The Barn to all, lovely salon :)

I have a very picky 13 yr old step son who rather look uncool than get his hair done anywhere else but the Barn

They have offered us great advice on styling and even went of their way to get an extra tub of fashionable wax so we could give him some as an Xmas pressie!

I always get a good cut and staff are so friendly

My 4 yr old loves his Gillian she has cut his hair since his first cut and gets it perfect every time

Came through from Glasgow for a Keratin treatment and cut & blow dry with Vicky on Friday....have never been so happy with my hair! I've never been able to blow dry my hair and wear it down without straightening it but I can now! Very friendly and professional service and I will definitely be making the journey back again to have Vicky style my hair more often X
