The Barony Centre Description

West Kilbride Community Initiative Ltd has created a dedicated Craft Exhibition and Activities Centre both as a focal point for Craft Town Scotland and a regional focus for craft and design. Within one beautifully designed venue, visitors can enjoy touring craft and cross art form exhibitions, choose from a range of stunning craft work in the Gallery Shop, take part in creative activities and finish the visit off by sampling the Barony cafe's freshly made coffee, home baking and light lunches.

I went to check out the new café. Just super! Great food. Great service. Great prices. I took my fussy vegan daughter and she was even offered vegan butter! I'll certainty be going back. Lots of lovely items to buy in the shop too.

I probably shouldn't admit this but I think I enjoyed the Barony Centre's delicious orange polenta cake and the fabulous tablet even more than the Tim Stead exhibition which has just opened. Along with a pot of tea (three cups), the bill was only £3.50 or thereabouts (apparently there was a "deal" on). As a bonus, I was sitting outside on the terrace and a bird crapped on me. So, lovely food AND good luck!
