You just need to look closely at tree flowers, fruits, cones, leaves or bark sometimes. See trees - they’re amazing ! Here’s a nice sweet chestnut which had a huge crop last year. First time in 30years of me knowing this tree to be able to eat the nut. Got there before the grey squirrels took them all !

Going to be a bumper Holly berry crop this year as well. Haven’t seen the trees like this for years.

Massive hazel crop this year near us here in the Scottish Borders. ..... However won’t be allowed to get to a cropping stage before they get wiped out by grey squirrels.
