Wow what a gem of a pub!! Just visited for the first time and will definitely be visiting again. What a warm, cosy welcoming place. The hospitality is second to none. Fabulous selection of ales, ciders, gins and more! Love the fact there isn't a bar. This is definitely now my favourite pub!! Love it �

Really welcoming great place

This is a great little pub with a good selection of real ale and ciders at reasonable prices. They also have up to 5 gins at any one time. Table service, warm welcome to all. Bar snacks only but you could bring your own food. This pub is just around the corner from Lichfield city railway station. Well worth a visit.

Really nice people, beer served straight from the barrel and tip top condition. Going to have to come back up for more one day!

Pop in. Absolutely brill. Great hosts. Great beers. Great price. Dog friendly. You'd be a fool not to pop in. Just around the corner from Lichfield City railway station under the bridge.

All beers and ciders are gravity fed (look it up). Table service if you want it.

Just back from our (long awaited) first visit, wow what a lovely place and genuine warm welcome! This place is spotlessly clean, absolutely immaculate. Everyone welcomed us in, including our puppy who's still in training. Everyone was so warm & welcoming. We enjoyed the selection of beers & ciders served properly & with a smile. Milo enjoyed free treats, his own drink & the run of the bar! Thank you; we're very impressed & will be back. We wish you every success.

Frizzle IPA... stunning.. !! You can walk across the road and bring in your fish and chips!! Its just bloody brilliant

Brilliant little place, always a great pint to be had, fantastic friendly staff and to top it all off it's dog friendly so it's always a stop off for me and Lana during our walks.

Absolutely love this place. Caters for all tastes.....firstly for the real ale connoisseurs and for those of us who like something different - fizz, wine, cider, gin, bottles beers and soft drinks. To top it off, you will not get better proprietors than Martin (who now knows what beers my Hubby likes better than he does!), Denise (one of the most loveliest people I know) and rest of the family. A must place to visit!!!
