I have been running my business since 2007 when I got my first 6 Hebridean ewes. It had been my intention to go into meat production but after helping to hand rear some of the lambs I decided that I couldn't eat them! These are my business partners so between us we decided to use the fleece to build the company rather than the meat.

The fleece will be turned into wool here in The Outer Hebrides. There is a mill on the isle of South Uist which is going to be receiving and processing the fleece, carding it, spinning it and returning it back to me so that the whole process will be traceable.

My intention is that I will make some of the yarn into my own tweed cloth.
