A weekend of fun filled karaoke at The Blane this weekend. Our usual on Friday & Saturday from 8.30pm and a Bank Holiday Brucie bonus on Sunday from 7.30pm

Get to The Blane this weekend and try our Breakfast Burger!!! A 6oz beef burger with bacon, sausage & a fried egg. Topped with onion rings and served with chips & salad. All for only £8.50.

Unfortunately on Tuesday The Blane lost a long time friend and regular Alex King, he will be sadly missed by all at the pub for his witty one liners, occasional grumpy demeanour and vastly superior domino skills. His family would like to welcome all his friends to St Thomas’ in Riddrie for the his reception to the chapel at 6pm on Thursday 14th of December and then the funeral mass at 10am on Friday 15th of December. From there Alex will go to St Peter’s Dalbeith on London Road, all his friends are then welcome back to Riddrie Bowling Club.

Haggis Fritter with A whisky cream & honey mustard dressed leaves

Succulent turkey breast with homemade stuffing & pigs in blankets
Striploin of beef with a Diane sauce
Smoked haddock poached in cream
All mains served with new & roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables
Vegetarian option available upon request
£13.45 per person with a £5 deposit each.
