Originally from London, Matt Gough is a trumpeter and composer who has recently re-connected with his Scottish roots and made Glasgow his new home.
... Matt is the creator and director of The Forgotten Fairground. A contemporary ensemble that celebrates enduring themes of childhood, imagination and love through a combination of music, dance and film. The Forgotten Fairground has recently released it’s debut album and short film and is preparing to record a new suite this summer.
The quintet will be playing specially adapted arrangements from Matt’s larger orchestrated works in The Forgotten Fairground as well as music written especially for this new band.
