The Boatman Description
After over 40 years at sea, in the commercial fishing, the Royal Navy and Merchant Navy, working in Search and Rescue (in-shore and off-shore), the time has come to pass on the extensive knowledge I have gained to present and future generation of seaman.
I am a fully qualified Naval Engineer, Commercial Off-Shore Yacht Master, ex RYA principle and instructor and have over 40 years of experience from canoes to frigates.
I am experienced in engineering, deck work and maintenance and all aspects of rope work.
I can offer a wide range of information and training on a variety of seamanship subjects due to my many years of experience in different areas.
